About this house rental
Vacation in style at our beautifully updated and maintained home walking distance to Main St. Hyannis. The house has been outfitted and furnished with comfort and convenience in mind. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can easily prepare meals at home. The house comfortably sleeps 4 adults or up to 6 people (four adults and four children is possible) in 3 bedrooms. The first floor bedroom has a set of bunk beds that the kids will love. Upstairs are two very large bedrooms with a Queen bed in the master and two double/full size beds in the other. Both have ample closet space. The master has a television and dvd player. There are 2 full bathrooms one on each floor, each with a tub/shower combo. We have a wonderful outdoor shower that makes it a pleasure to clean off after a day at the beach! Toilet paper and soap provided.
The house is equipped with broadband wifi, two smart televisions, 2 dvd players, and Xfinity cable. Central air conditioning ensures that you are cool on even the hottest of summer days. There's a gas grill outside and a washer/dryer in the basement for your convenience. We have beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach toys in the shed for your use.
Rental includes use of a Barnstable Beach Parking permit which allows you to park for free at numerous each and lake parking facilities in Barnstable county. (A savings of $20+ per visit!)
Our spacious, private yard is a pleasure for hanging out barbecuing, tossing the frisbee around, playing soccer, cornhole or wiffle ball. It is flat, fenced on three sides, grassy and on a quiet, dead-end street. We have a lovely built in stone patio, complete with outdoor dining set, chairs and umbrella. Additionally you may enjoy sitting under the pergola or using the fire pit.
Once you venture into town, you'll find that in a few short minutes you can be sitting on the beach, shopping on Main Street, eating fresh seafood at the waterfront, hopping on a ferry to Nantucket or shopping at the Hyannis Mall. Just a couple streets away you can go for homemade ice cream, play mini-golf or catch a concert a the Cape Cod Melody Tent. On a rainy day the kids might enjoy seeing the Cape Cod Potato Chip factory or going bowling and the adults may enjoy a tour of the Cape Cod Brewery. ** Drive out of town and there are literally dozens of gorgeous beaches, nature walks and ponds to explore. For a day trip we suggest heading out to the tip of the Cape to Provincetown and experiencing a whale watch and the Cape Cod National Seashore. Bring or rent bikes and enjoy the scenic Cape Cod rail trial while getting some exercise.
The house is walking distance to Main Street shops and restaurants and less than two miles to Keyes Beach, Veterans Park Beach and Kalmus Beach in Hyannis.
Numerous grocery stores (including Trader Joe's and Whole Foods), seafood markets breakfast diners and other restaurants make it easy to dine in or eat out.
We are aiming for Sunday to Sunday rentals in summer and are flexible on check in and check out during the off season..

We enjoyed a lovely few days here with our newborn, fur baby and family. Plenty of room, quiet and peaceful street but close to the main part of town. We also enjoyed the BBQ and outdoor eating. Great communication by hosts, everything was as listed/pictured (even better).

My husband, son and I spent a week at Lindsey and Bruce’s lovely Cape home. It was in a great location, minutes away from beaches and the downtown area, and had a nice big backyard that my 4 year old thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend this home for anyone wanting to stay in the Hyannis area!

The house is a quaint 3 BR at the end of a quiet road, easy and quick access to highways and local beaches. Hosts have done a beautiful job updating the home and were very responsive to our messages. My only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer!

Great Cape Getaway
We had a great time staying at this home. The kitchen was roomy and well-stocked. The bathrooms contained excellent showers. We loved the bonus outdoor shower for washing off after a day on the beach and biking the Rail Trail. Bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. Owners were very responsive. The yard was beautiful, and we loved the hammock. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Cape Stay!
This house was immaculately clean, spacious, had a great yard for grilling, lawn games (which they had in the shed!), was walkable to town and delicious Katie’s ice cream and was close to beaches. The landlord beach pass provided allowed us to try different beaches in the area which was great. The kitchen had literally everything you can think of and we enjoyed roasting s’mores in the outdoor fire pit. On a rainy day there were plenty of board games and DVDs at the house to cozy up in the living room. Also, while we didn’t use the AC much or the washer dryer- both of those are a major plus. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Cape Escape
Our family of four enjoyed our week at this cute and clean cottage in Hyannis. It was perfectly situated a short drive from the charming towns of Centerville and Osterville. The landlord beach pass was a blessing as it allowed us to enjoy some gorgeous resident only beaches. This home has every amenity you could want (indoor decor, kitchen utensils, linens, and beach gear+) making our stay supremely comfortable, everyone had enough room and the dining tables had plenty of seating. Lindsey was responsive and reliable in her communication with us, everything at the home was even better than we expected! The enclosed outdoor shower is a Cape highlight, we loved it. The expansive backyard was awesome for our dog to stretch his legs and our kids to play cornhole and wiffle ball. I enjoyed my morning coffee in one of the multiple outdoor seating areas. Rent this cottage when you're looking for a comfortable, air conditioned home base when visiting mid Cape!

Fantastic Stay
Bruce and Lindsey's house did not disappoint! Not only was the house accurate to its listing, it was even better than our expectations. Upon checking in, it felt extremely clean and things in the house were in good working order. It didn't feel like "just another rental property" but more like a real home that was loved and well cared for. The expansive yard was AMAZING for our family and we spent most of our time outside, whether it was eating on the patio table, playing games in the yard, relaxing in the hammock, roasting s'mores at the fire pit, taking advantage of the outdoor shower, or playing fetch with our dogs. The house was perfectly cozy and thoughtfully organized. Bruce and Lindsey were wonderful during the whole process, easy to communicate with and quick in their responses. Overall very hospitable! Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay!!!! Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I stayed at this beautiful home. There were 6 adults, 2 children and our 7 year old Havanese and the accommodations were excellent. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were a decent size and very clean. The owner's provided toiletries which is very helpful especially when you forget to pack a few items.We were very impressed with the detailed information about beaches nearby as well as things to do in the area on a sunny day as well as a rainy day. From the information provided, we knew which beaches to visit and what to expect. The house is located just a 10 minute drive to the famous Main Street in Hyannis and a very short drive to the Cape Cod Mall. For the days we decided to stay in and order out, there was a bin with a large stack of menus and board games to play.We enjoyed swinging on the hammock, making s'mores outside on the fire pit and eating dinners outside on the patio set. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The exterior of the house was taken care of. The kitchen was stocked with modern appliances.The owners put a great deal of thought when making this home a home away from home for renters.I would recommend this property and would choose it again when vacationing in Hyannis.

We just returned from our annual trip to Hyannis. This home is as pictured. It is well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet and was walking distance for us to Main St. shops and restaurants.
Bruce and Lindsey were very responsive during the booking process and provided helpful information about the home and area activities.
I've stayed in several homes in the area over the years, trying to find the best fit for our stay and I think we found it here. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

Great home in a convenient location. Has everything you need for relaxing at the beach with young children, the beach pass is a big plus.
Neighborhood was pretty quiet.
Homeowner was helpful and responsive to a question we had.
House is quite clean and orderly. It does have a small issue with ants in a few spots but no big deal.
Overall would definitely stay there again.
