Excellent apartment in quite new cozy and well-planned district named Carmei Gat. This is actually a part of new townhouse (it has 2-3 other apartments in the same building). All apartments on ground floor - no stairs or elevator is needed, so it makes this accommodation accessible. Public buses routes 4, 14 and 5 go nearby. You can use it to reach railway station or easily change to interurban bus routes at Malkhei Israel / Tsafon interchange (Northern junction). Small supermarket "Market Gat" is nearby too.
Kiryat Gat is very good city. We definitely recommend it not only in case you have any business with Intel or other local objects, but if you want to travel to Bet Shemesh, see the Adoulam National Park, the Shephelah and Judean lowlands and Biblical / ancient historical places of Azekah, She'arim (Qeiyafa), Maresha and Beit Guvrin which all can be reached in 30 minutes on a cheap public bus!
Perfect communication with host - she is polite, kind and responsible. We got all details and directions. No one disturbed us with annoying paperwork or empty talks / calls. So easy and quick! Thank you very much.
Apartment is good enough. It is equipped with all necessary amenities and very simple but new IKEA furniture. You can use big flat screen TV with satellite receiver and HDMI input - we used the HDMI cable with our laptop. Small kitchen corner with fridge, electric kettle, Nespresso capsule coffee maker, nice electric toaster and microwave oven made our day ) When we've ran out of coffee, the host arranged a new delivery and we've got whole pack of coffee for free as a gift! It is so kind and nice!
Big and powerful boiler - no problems with hot water. You can go the shower soon after switching it on.
Good free WiFi with good coverage and connection speed.
Cozy terrace just at your doorstep, near the entrance. You can use the small garden table and chairs.
Very few storage space. Nowhere to put your bag or suitcase. No wardrobe for your outerwear. Only a small hanger.
Thin walls - you can hear your neighbors when watching TV or talking out loud.
Shower is a bit strange - first of all, do not forget to switch on the boiler, otherwise it will be icy cold water only. Then, there is no shower hose, only rainfall shower, but it is okay enough. However, the boiler itself is very powerful and big enough, we have never ran out of hot water. It is great!
There were no cleaning, but we did not need it.
Credit card payment only - you will need to specify the credit card details so the host can charge you. Not the Booking.com, the host is responsible for payments. There is no POS terminal to insert your card - online payments only, so you can't pay with cash.

The room is located in a quiet new neighborhood in Kiryat Gat, easy to reach from Route 6. The building is new and good looking, small garden around the entire building. The bathroom is tiled very nicely and is comfortable. Microwave and fridge are available as well as TV. Very pleasant place, good bed, I slept very well!
8.0 / 10.0
The location was excellent as we were visiting our kids who live nearby and it was a 3 minute walk to their apartment. The home was very clean, beautiful bathrooms and the host gave us a mid week cleaning which we were not expecting. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c worked great.
There are no closets and minimal drawer space and although there are coat racks and hangers, for a long term stay this could be an issue.
