The house was close to our family in Bend. Check in was not easy, but the phone number provided was useful to allow us to access the house. The cost for 3 days was abusive due to the fees that were added. There was no value of staying there because of the over pricing. We will not stay there again. Internet TV service did not work. There were no instructions to reset them. 4 remotes-2useless. Very disappointed in the overall cost and experience.

Cute two-story that is centrally located to so many places in Bend. It was clean and hot tub was great after a day adventuring in town. I live locally and had friends in town, and would happily recommend this to any future visitors! Short walk to downtown, the river, Crux, grocery store and many other places to eat as well!

Th house was the perfect size for my husband and I and our two adult children. It is in the historical neighborhood just a few blocks to downtown Bend. We were able to get all everywhere we wanted to go. I highly recommend this house.

This house was really great. Perfect size and could not ask for a better location. Walking distance to old town and great restaurants. 30 minutes from the ski hill. The only downside was that the hot tub appears to be broken. The water was cold and would not heat up.

Great place for our two families with little ones! Close to walk to restaurants, parks etc. Hot tub was nice. Master bedroom not as well heated as the rest of the house but it wasn't a huge problem for us. Stayed in the high 50's at night in that room. Kitchen stocked well with cookware and spices.

Brought the kids for family Thanksgiving in Bend. The house was not too big and not too small, just right! Short walk to all the shops and restaurants in downtown AND the park and riverfront. My wife and kids loved the hot tub too!

Great house, lots of linens for a big group, hot tub is a great feature. Walkable to nearby restaurants, breweries, Deschutes River, etc. However, I had initially booked a different listing for a group of 8 people through Meredith Rentals, and then they abruptly changed the listing (without informing me) to only allow 6 people. If I hadn't caught that (and cancelled/rebooked in time), it would have been a rough surprise upon arriving. It would have been nice if Meredith was more helpful and accommodating for that situation, which was not our fault.

Master bedroom bed is really uncomfortable. All closets need more hangers. Bathrooms need hooks - not really any space to hang a wet towel. Air conditioning doesn’t cool off upstairs bedrooms well - they stay hot because thermostat is on first level. Great location!

We were really disappointed that the hot tub didn't work as it was one of the main reasons we rented that particular house. They did send out a maintenance person to take a look (without any luck of fixing it) and gave us a minimal "hot tub" refund which was appreciated. However, I would prefer that the listing not include a hot tub as an amenity unless it is in good working order.

BEWARE do not book with Meredith Lodging company. I’ve never given a one star review so take note. False advertising on 3 bedrm sleeps 8, feature photo—HOT-TUB. Advertised as (Rotten)“Georgia Peach”. I even confirmed before arriving that the hottub had been cleaned and heated but turns out it was not functioning. Meredith Lodging refused to deal with the issues or adjust our rent. Dog crap on the patio, dog hair inside on everything, freezer doesn’t work until we spend a few days guessing that 5 is the only setting that makes ice, cutlery for 3 and 2 wine glasses. Meredith lodging suggested I read my contract where it states they are not responsible for anything. Sadly I booked through VRBO so zero recourse. I will only use Airbnb in the future since they care about their client’s satisfaction.

The house is roomy and in a great location. The neighborhood is quiet and very walkable you’re nearby restaurants and the river. My only complaints would be that the hot tub wasn’t hot enough and the backyard is very small (essentially just a patio).
