Room pleasant and staff nice.
Carpet in the bathroom, the noise from the bar as both nights a microphone was being used and very noisy.
5.0
Bar was excellent, staff were hospitable with local knowledge and went out of their way to accommodate. Room had everything you would need with a mix of modern and retro. Bed was comfy
Wragby itself has limited dining and transport options. The Ivy doesn't do food except toasties.

That was the only disappointment no restaurant

The room was clean, spacious and well maintained. Good wi-fi coverage and the TV includes streaming services. And while there is no onsite parking there is a free car park near-by.
Warning there is no cooked food available at the pub. Which means you'll need to find alternative arrangements for an evening meal and breakfast. Be aware that noise from the bar may go on after midnight.

The room was spacious, well decorated with good furnishings. Bathroom was recently refurbished. Bar was populous and comfortable.
No longer does food or breakfast

I actually cancelled this booking as they could not accommodate my dietary requirements
I did not get confirmation of my cancellation but I see monies have left my account
3.5
Comfortable bed and spacious bedroom
lack of a breakfast facility or anywhere close by that could provide one early enough i.e. around 8am

Have stayed before but in a different room, this time in the family room which had 2 single beds & a double bed. Staff were very friendly
The bathroom was very small and had no heating so it was freezing cold which made it very uncomfortable to use. Also if you happen to be over 6ft tall you are likely to hit you head on a number of obstacles die to slanted and low ceilings.
Unfortunately they no longer serve food so no breakfast, lunch or dinner options which was a real shame.

Be aware obviously rooms above a busy pub, no breakfast but cafe next door, Corn Dolly do a fab breakfast
Only provided 2 towels but 3 people staying in the room.

in a nice location. lovely local pub
Bedroom carpet quite worn in places. Shower cubicle fairly small. Had to exit via very wet slippery fire escape stairs
3.5
Convenient location. Great room. Above average condition. Room nice and warm. Great shower.
Fire escape was deadly in the ice. Could be potential for a serious accident. Suggest open tred steps to help for adverse weather conditions.

lovely room very clean

nice location in busy little town. bedrooms basic but comfortable. staff friendly and helpful. the heating was not working in our rooms and it was a cold night. We asked staff to look into it and by the time we returned after an evening out - portable heaters had been put in the rooms which were nicely warmed up - thanks for sorting it!

Lovely location...spotlessly clean...friendly

The bed was comfy
You had a sloped roof bedroom and kept knocking head in both bedroom and above toilet. All Web sites for this pub all show amazing photos of when it sold food very misleading. No longer do meals, I missed it on your website but the pub, should remove them, then you would not make a mistake. Also to leave pub when bar not open its down fire escape out the back, if go out early am very dark light does not come on until near the bottom of steps. It was very wet when we were there, did not feel safe.
Asked to change room told all others booked did not see another person upstairs while we were there or hear anyone, no room lights on either when we were outside at various times.

They didn’t cater for any meals.
No breakfast or evening meals. Parking in local car park opposite

Location
Website advertises breakfast but no breakfast available. Have to leave hotel via the fire escape. Not suitable for disabled people. Room very small with very low ceilings. Guests need to be very small to stand up in room and bathroom in room 201.

We used The Ivy as a Sunday night pit stop coming from Cadwell Park. Excellent fresh as a daisy comfortable rooms.
The landlord provides plates and cutlery for guests coming from the chippy opposite, what a brilliant idea.
No breakfast available, which seems to be a post pandemic trend due to staffing issues up and down the country.
This is a well managed pub and I am sure that this will be sorted.

Booking.com cocked up the booking so our room was double booked. We had to find a room elsewhere and I am still waiting for a refund.
We could have had a room.

Friends pub with super atmosphere, perfect facilities for our requirements

Comfy bed .
The duvet had a big horrible stain on it .The pillows didn't have protected covers under the pillow cases.A big no no !!! .

Room was very comfortable and clean. Was visiting Cadwell Park race track so not too far to travel.
No breakfast available.

clean and welcoming
no food available

The room itself was comfortable but not suitable for anyone particularly tall as it has steeply sloping eaves - which though characterful could be a problem if you get up in the night to go to the loo and don't switch the lights on! Reception was friendly and bed comfortable. Good base for exploring the area and handy for main roads but in a village location
there was no food available at the venue at all which might make things difficult for some and no on site parking - though the market place can be overlooked from some rooms. The stairs were very steep and access is via the main pub or a fire escape at the rear. The fire escape runs over gas cylinders which doesn't seem particularly safe or sensible and as a means of access must be a nightmare in winter.
2.0
The room was clean and tidy, but was an attic room up 3 flights of stairs, and was very warm due to the warm weather, and the fan was needed all night!
There was no breakfast offered, much to our dismay! We were informed that it was room only!
There was no evening meal available, even though the The Ivy Inn displays a large Restaurant sign outside!
