Always love our stays here. Every time weve had a different room and they are all unique which i love. We had an upstairs barn room this time. Very comfortable bed, quiet.
Had amazing food in the restaurant as always. The chicken scotch egg and rhubarb cheesecake wow!! Staff are amazing very friendly and always make you feel so welcome. Cant wait to come back
Nothing to complain about

Staff were wonderful throughout our stay. Thank you.
Disappointing room…
Dark and poorly lit (it was impossible to read by the light of the bedside lamps).
The fan in bathroom didn’t work, so it was permanently damp/steamy.
It was also badly designed (eg. the mirror in the bathroom was impossible to use unless you were six feet tall, the chairs were uncomfortable for sitting in, there was no shelving in the bathroom for any toiletries etc).
Also - it was frustrating to have no information in the room on meal times etc…and get conflicting information from staff. For example, we were told by one staff member that breakfast was until 10am… by another staff member that breakfast was until 9.30am… and then (when we arrived at 9am) that the kitchen closes at 9.15am. Hmmm.

Nothing!

The location was ideal for what we needed. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. The only criticism I would have is some drawers in which to unpack clothes and a shelf to put all our toiletries on would have been good.

Staff were lovely. The room was very clean and well appointed and extremely comfortable.
The only drawback was I found the room stuffy: I may have missed something in the room but there was no obvious way to ventilate the room. The doors to the room open externally straight outside, but I didn't feel comfortable leaving them open all night. Even having a way to securely have the doors open a fraction would help.

A lovely little place with a pub/restaurant on site and a unique character. Overall really good value for money and would stay again.
The carpet was a little grubby and the bathroom had a whiff of meldew.

Exceptional customer service and the food in the Pig and whistle was fabulous!
Out only complaint was the room was unbearably hot even though it was not a hot day. I do believe that they are looking at air conditioning which is very much needed.

Staff were lovely, Pig and Whistle was great to have a drink in, and because we had to leave early in the morning staff prepared us a lovely take away breakfast which was incredible and so kind. Room was very clean with a lovely view of the garden, and bed was very comfortable.

Stunning hotel set in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. The manor and stables have been converted into a wonderful hotel providing spacious rooms which are beautifully decorated. Excellent shower. Great restaurant serving exceptional food. Staff were super helpful and wifi was great and enabled us to work remotely in the pub area all day.

Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. The room was quiet and comfortable. Healing is a beautiful village

The bathroom was huge and very luxurious, however what let the room down was the need for a bit of tidying up with the paintwork and the carpet needed a good clean. The room was huge and the valeted ceiling and bed were lovely. Very comfy room.
The paintwork needed a good refresh and the carpet was dirty.
