Wunderschönes Homestay am Strand

Liebevoll eingerichtetes kleines Homestay am Strand von Amed. Die vier Zimmer haben alle Meerblick. Die beiden oberen Zimmer mit Balkon haben die schönste Aussicht. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben die Klimaanlage gar nicht benötigt. Der Ventilator und die offene Tür haben völlig ausgereicht. Es gibt genügend Ablageflächen und auch im Badezimmer Haken. Nicht selbstverständlich in Indonesien. 😉Sophie, Wayan und Team sind sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Terima kasih ❣️

Para pasar pocos días

Está bien situado, con muchos restaurantes cerca y delante del Mar. Está todo muy limpio y hay desayuno.

La habitación era muy fea, los colores, no habían sabanas, parecía una colcha, la puerta no cerraba bien, no hay agua caliente en el baño, no hay papeleras dentro de la habitación. La playa tiene muchas piedras y es difícil tomar sol.

Cheap, bit seedy accommodation. Towns main road torn up.

Lovely and helpful owner/staff. Nice beach-facing upper room.

The main street of Amed was torn up and under construction, makes whole town undesirable for now.

Des hôtes très sympas.

Anne Sophie la propriétaire est Suisse, elle parle français, allemand, indonésien et anglais, elle et son mari sont super. L'emplacement au top. A 5 minutes des restaurants par la plage. Super petit déjeuner. Le petit plus : un passe livre bien garni.

La literie pas très confortable, Chaleur de jour comme de nuit.

Ok pour court séjour

La vue sur la mer, juste à côté du centre de plongée Abyss. La gentillesse du personnel. Je ne suis restée que 2 nuits ms petit déjeuner différent. Sophie m’a communiqué un numéro de chauffeur pour m’emmener à Padangbai.

Je venais grâce aux commentaires. Je n’ai pas vraiment bcp échangé avec les propriétaires car je ne les ai croisés qu’à la fin. Il vaut mieux ne pas être prude : rideaux transparents, la chambre ne ferme pas totalement ms le lieu est sûr. L’air co rend sourd et le lit n’était pas confortable. C’est bien pour 2 nuits.

Sentirsi subito a casa

Proprietari di casa super disponibili e gentili, hanno una figlia stupenda e due cani bellissimi. La posizione a due passi dal mare fantastica. Facile raggiungere i punti di interesse anche a piedi. La camera è essenziale ma pulita, dotata di condizionatore, ho apprezzato molto anche la veranda vista mare.

Super homestay en ligging voor een paar dagen bezoek aan Ahmed.

Prachtige ligging direct aan het stand met een spectaculair uitzicht op de mount Aigur. De eigenaren (Sofie en Wayan) hebben er alles aan gedaan om alles te regelen wat ik wilde. Snorkel en vistrip. Ook was het eenvoudig om via hen een scooter en snorkeluitrusting te huren. De laatste avond de giant travaly die ik die ochtend had gevangen door de staf van de homestay klaargemaakt en hebben we hem samen met alle gasten van dat moment gezellig opgegeten.

That was our best stay in Indonesia! The room was comfortable with a beautiful terrace surounded by plants pointing at the ocean which is 50 meters in front. The place is very cozy, the atmosphere is very relaxing and friendly and kept in order by two cute dogs. The staff was very very helpful and nice, always greeting us with an honest smile. Every morning we had a different local breakfast with different fruits and coffee anytime. The location is perfect : a shop in front, plenty of restaurants and diving centers around. The owners can also organise a pick up from Gilimanuk harbour for a reasonable price. Definitely a place to stay at, if you come to Amed.

You won't regret staying here

The view is nice(seconds away from the beach) This is a family run homestay and their hospitality is beyond perfect Location is central, breakfast is 😋 I also felt safe without locking the door of my room

Not bad for location and money, an aircon in room would have been better.

The location was good. Accessible to most of the convenience stores, cafes, restaurants nearby. Good view from the room and 1 minute walk from the beach. The staff and property owners were very kind and super helpful.

The bed was super squeaky and the mattress was not comfortable We stayed for 6 days and no aircon in the room made it difficult to sleep with a squeaky bed and an uncomfortable mattress in the hot room. Good breeze if the doors were left open but then it invites mossies and bugs to add on to the misery.

Colorfull stay

The style of accommodation. Simple but clean. Very quiet and beach front even not direct access from the property. Close to eveything. Family ambience. The staff and owner are howsome. The breakfast generous and delicious.

Just the small street , flooding when rain. Cannot park in front of the property but anyway, Amed is still a safe place

great location with a beautiful sea view… i liked the Hippie- Style and felt very much at home. the Owners Sophie and Wayan are very caring. the rooms are simple (cold shower) but clean … and sleeping with the sound of the waves is priceless.

I got the different room I booked, I stayed 2 nights here. I quite dislike this kind of accommodation.

Homestays are suitable for people who are looking for a more affordable accommodation. People who like good hotels and perfect places I think there isn’t here. No warm water is provided. but the owner is very nice

Good value for money, helpful hosts but bed was very hard

location with vie of the sea was lovely, nicely decorated room, good aircon and excellent WiFi

Bed and pillows very hard. The walkway up to the property floods with any rain and is rocky and very muddy, not the properties fault but we got wet and muddy feet everyday. shower powerful but cold

the super kind & generous owners and staff, the view from the balcony, the breakfast, u can make use of their kitchen, comfy bed.

due to rain (in rainy season) the path to their homestay floods, is a bit unpractical but not a big problem.

good value for the money.

The hospitality, and the room. I had a very nice room upstairs with beautiful view and a lot of light with windows from floor to ceiling on two sides and curtains to cover if it was too sunny. I had both fan and AC which I appreciate. Big beakfast, which they made vegan for me. They helped with everything possible from borrowing me snorkel equipment to ordering dinner from nearby restaurant when it was raining a lot. Its very close to Warung Enak that has very good food.

Only that the access was a bit muddy when it had rained a lot.

Very Nice Swiss-Balinese Family Experience!

The host Sophie is really nice, very helpful and you get the experience of living with a Balinese family. The roof toop is nice to see the sun rise... I wish I did it at sunset too actually.

I was looking for somewhere to really treat myself, reward myself after a tough year... Be right on the ocean and have "Millionaire Queen Level" service and care... Basically I was looking for something more comfortable and rich as I know I can afford here, so I just realized I needed something different, more "luxury comfort".

Any Time again!

A very friendly, familylike atmosphere created by Anne-Sophie, Wayan and the lovely helping hands. Helpful for any kind of request, including transport or bootticket. A perfect stay, where I relaxed and felt welcome. The view from the colorful and cosy rooms at the ocean is at any time amazing.

this place is such a little gem, the rooms are simple but tastefully decorated. The place is very very clean and has a lot of soul. It was a welcome change for us after staying in some more sterile hotel rooms. The position is also very good, nearby to shops and restaurants and literally in front of the beach. All the rooms have the most amazing ocean view!

Not a dislike, but if you have the option get the room with air con as Amed gets pretty hot.

Lovely time here!

The location was great, right on the beach and central / walking distance to many restaurants. Sophie and the staff were really helpful - whether it was arranging a driver / guide for a day of site seeing or running me 5 min down the road on a motorbike. Also the views from the room / rooftop of Mt Agung were amazing.

The room I was in was quite warm from the sun during the day, not a problem if you are out and about exploring all day.

Home in paradise

Everything! We came as a group of 3 remote working friends. Wifi is very good for working, video calls and everything (around 20Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload). Beds really comfortable, and the view… ah the view 😍 The host family and staff are also incredibly nice It’s been an awesome stay. Disclaimer: The water is not heated, but it’s not cold either, so it hasn’t been a problem at all

The best stay I had on Bali! Really welcoming when we arrived. Daily differing local, delicious breakfast, great location in Amed and the cutest and most friendly owners and staff. We really enjoyed our stay in Amed. Would recommend to everyone.
