Our family thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the Lady. It had wonderful gathering spaces inside and outside. Ours is an active group so the yard and outdoor areas provided room to enjoy games and gather by the fire in the evening. There was plenty of room inside for games and music as well.
It made for a special weekend and great memories.

This house was PERFECT for our needs and everyone wished we had more time to enjoy its splendor! Elizabeth has created an amazing place for people to stay. I don't know when I'll be in the PNW again, but I hope to be able to come back and visit here at some point. Working with her was wonderful and we most certainly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent site for a work retreat.
For a work retreat, we had 18 people there, plus some infants, and there was plenty of space for everyone to hang out together comfortably. We enjoyed lounging by the outdoor fireplace, dining out back and taking in the sunset, long walks, and chatting it up in work clusters inside and out. Oh, and the bedrooms were very comfortable.
The convenient location just three miles south of Stanwood made it easy to run into town to get more supplies.
Elizabeth was very flexible and easy to work with, too!

Amazing!!!
There are not enough words to say how perfect this home made our experience a once in a lifetime experience for our family reunion and gathering. We felt so much at home. It was magical and there are no words I could write to describe it or do it justice. Our host and her family were warm, gracious and their history is quite simply amazing. If I could give a rating of more than the stars in the sky, it would be that for sure.

What an incredible experience - highly recommended
This was an incredible experience for our family, way beyond what I was expecting. I highly recommended it.
The place is enormous - it swallowed up four kids and seven adults so easily we kept losing track of each other. The antique look of the finishings at first seemed dated to the millennials in our group, but that quickly gave way to a warm, wholesome, well-worn feeling that made us all think we were young kids visiting our grandparents' lovingly-maintained farmhouse.
I cooked several meals for us there and enjoyed every minute of it - powerful range, adept wall oven, serious mixer, tons of counter space, second sink and work area in a butlers pantry, spacious high-end fridge/freezer, enough plates, cups, and silverware to start a restaurant, and that's just what you find in the house.
Out back, there's a giant gas-assisted fireplace that even I could light, a Trager, a sink with hot water, and a brick oven that grilled up some amazing tri-tip roast, all nestled in immaculately-kept grounds large enough to fit two or three more houses this same size. The photos don't really do this place justice, but I selfishly hope they don't update them or everyone would be staying here!
Beds were super comfortable, bathrooms were modern and spotless, and the owner was responsive and engaged throughout the rental.
The one thing I didn't plan as well for as I should have was the stairs, and the difficulty they presented to the older folks in my group. Not at all the owners fault, but do keep in mind that all the bedrooms (and showers) are on the second floor, and the (glorious) tall ceilings on the main level make it quite a hike for someone with a bum hip. It may not be feasible, but if there was any way for the owners to open up the locked-off area on the main level that I think is a servant's quarters and turn it into a bedroom, it would be just perfect.
But really, that was just a small issue and all on me for not planning for it.
Again, this place is amazing and you mustn't hesitate to book it. You won't regret it, and the memories you make here will last a lifetime.

Great space for a large gathering
The house had plenty of space and lots of bathrooms and had a very well-equipped kitchen. There were also tons of books, puzzles, and toys- even a grand piano in the music room. It won't be your choice if you are looking for a modern space, but if you are into older homes, you should definitely check it out. It was perfect for our reunion gathering. The grounds outside were beautifully maintained and also had lots of space for people to connect with one another. The price was extremely reasonable.

Magnificent Farmhouse Vacation
We rented this marvelous old Farmhouse for a long holiday weekend and couldn’t have been happier. Lots of room, terrific kitchen, bucolic views, wonderful old and odd library! Grand piano! Everything we needed. I’d strongly recommend it!

Wonderful property for large family gatherings; backyard extraordinary!
The home was so well equipped with everything you'd need for a large family gathering. The home was fun with the added porch lights and lights in the outdoor seating area. The yard was well-maintained. We enjoyed our time there - everybody was impressed with the furnishings - always something new to discover while wandering around the home. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Special place for a family gathering
What a unique and wonderful place to celebrate a family wedding. Everyone got to enjoy their own bedroom and bathroom while staying under the same roof. The kitchen and outdoor areas were wonderful places for entertaining. Everything was clean and the house was wonderfully decorated with an old farmhouse style. The owners were incredibly accommodating and available for any questions we had. Couldn't have asked for a better location to host our family.

Beautiful, vintage home with plenty of room for 15+ people
This home and the surrounding grounds are even more beautiful in person than in the photos currently on the website. It has vintage charm with all modern amenities (kitchen and bathrooms being the main priorities!). We had 16 young adults here for 2 nights and it was very comfortable for us. It is hard to find places close-ish to Seattle that are affordable and can COMFORTABLY sleep/accommodate so many people, as many houses that advertise they can house 12+ people only have 2 bathrooms or otherwise are awkwardly set up. We felt so lucky to find this place! We made all our meals onsite and found the kitchen amenities and all the kitchen items supplied to be very convenient so we didn't have to bring anything other than food with us. The surrounding area is gorgeous and we had fun hanging out outside and inside.
The only downside is that there are a couple funky smells depending on which furniture you are using, but that is definitely par for the course with vintage homes. We had a fabulous time and are already hoping to come back again!

Fun group retreat
We were a group of 10 adults, 10 kids, and 2 dogs, and the house worked out perfectly for us. It's a beautiful old house, very comfortable, and well furnished and supplied. We were there over New Year's weekend, so it was cold outside, though the outdoor areas were great for the energetic younger set and an evening fire in the outdoor fireplace, the common areas and bedrooms were very comfortable and cozy, and the top floor bunk room was perfect as a teenager hangout. Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely recommend it.

Farmhouse retreat
What a lovely spot for our three generation family get-away! Very comfortable beds, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. There were nine of us, ranging in age from 1 to 59. There is plenty of room, inside and out, for family activities.... or for some "alone time" to recharge your batteries or indulge in some quiet reflection. The house is lovingly restored with period antiques, but boasts all of the modern conveniences. I particularly loved the outdoor living spaces and the fabulous kitchen. This would also be perfect for a work retreat or a girl's get-away.

Family Vacation
What a wonderful, relaxing time our family of 12 had for 4 days. Basically 6 families, but all related. Separate bedrooms and bathrooms were great and appreciated. There was plenty of room for us to be together or spread out as needed. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, including the huge refrigerator and freezer. Could have used a microwave but survived fine without it. WE really enjoyed the outdoor areas and patios and could let the dogs run around the yard. The owners were very accommodating and we could tell they loved their big farmhouse and grounds. Would love to stay there again.
