Overpriced for what you get.

Location was really good, close to main attractions such as Lake Gregory, Victory park and Post Office.

We stayed one night, we had multiple times of water and electricity cut which was actually a big problem.

Nettes zweckmäßiges Hotel.

Vom Aufbau ein sehr interessantes Hotel. Zimmer wären sehr geräumig. Lage war auch gut - man war in 5 Minuten am Victoria Park und in 10 bei dem Postoffice.

My sons say they want to go back to this place after staying 4 other accommodations in Sri Lanka. And I agree with them.

Beautiful scenery from the room, nice air, friendly staffs and good breakfast.

Saw some stains on the sheet, but it doesn’t mean that it was dirty. Just felt a bit uncomfy when I saw them.

Perfekter Aufenthalt in Nuwara Eliya

Sehr gute Lage, fußläufig zum Zentrum von Nuwara Eliya. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Warme Decke und warmes Wasser vorhanden (sehr wichtig in Nuwara Eliya). Frühstück war inklusive und ebenfalls sehr lecker und reichhaltig.

Fenster im Bad ließ sich nicht schließen, dadurch war es im Bad immer etwas kalt. War aber nicht tragisch.

Magnifico edificio collocato in una posizione centrale e silenziosa. Le stanze sono spaziose e pulite. Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile. La colazione abbondante e i pan cakes buonissimi!

Cosy room, helpful staff, delicious breakfast.

The hotel is perfectly located to walk into the town and is very close to the famous Grand Hotel. The staff at the hotel were helpful and informative, arranging us with a tuktuk for our onward travel. The room was clean and well equipped with a nice hot shower, tea/coffee facilities, a heater, fridge and blanket. The breakfast was probably the best we have had on our trip around Sri Lanka.

Comfortable modern hotel in an incredibly scenic location.

Clean modern new alpine lodge style hotel, comfortable beds.

Hot water ran out after 10 minutes. Restaurant closed for dinner BUT the manager told us about an amazing food court just 5 minutes walk away.

위치가 좋고 청결해요. 우체국,빅토리아파크가 도보로 5분 거리이고 싱글트리힐도 가깝습니다. 매우 편안한 숙소로 강추 합니다.

와이파이가 좀 약해요.

Great hotel with lovely views

The Ramp is a lovely place to stay, it’s off the main road so it’s mostly very quiet, but only ten minutes walk into town. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and there was good water pressure and hot water in the shower. The staff are friendly and helpful and organised a driver to tour to the tea factories and waterfalls for me. Breakfast was good and there’s great views of the surrounding hills. Would definitely return here.

Not worth for the price

Worst experience we ever had. Musty smelly rooms, overcharged. Lights are not working, Guy at the reception argued and when i asked whether it over priced.

We were given ground floor room. Which was terrible . Bath mats were so dirty. Staff Never responded when we asked missing amenities.

Some other places we stayed in Sri Lanka arguably better value for money. Lots of dogs barking at night interrupted sleep, though this is beyond hotel control and not unique to this area.

Mooie omgeving, fijn verblijf

Fijne kamers. Locatie is prima, soms een tuktuk handig om te nemen richting restaurants maar kan je ook lopen. Prima ontbijt. We kregen een pakketje mee toen we vroeg wakker werden om naar Hortons Plain te gaan.

Overall I didn’t enjoy my stay there. It wasn’t as expected and personally I did not enjoy my time and it was a bad expe

I didn’t like anything about this property, we had a horrible experience. The pictures on the site aren’t the same as real like, it was all fake pictures.

The property wasn’t clean, very far from the road, heater don’t work, bathroom is terrible, it wasn’t organized and etc.

Everything is ok, except soundproofing.

Location is good. Staff is kind and hospitable. Facilities are ok.

We had room on the second floor. Right about the door of our room was dining zone. And there was strong echoes, so we heard ALL noises from dining zone and first floor. Every word and sound. And all preparations for breakfast (since 7am).

Unser Zimmer war sehr hellhörig und an manchen stellen mit Schimmel befallen! Die Bettwäsche hatte flecken und war nicht gerade einladend!

Gutes Hotel für eine Nacht

Außergewöhnliche Architektur und schöne Zimmer. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, nahe zum Zentrum, für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ideal. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Fenster im Bad lässt sich nicht schliessen daher war es sehr kalt, aber wir hatten glücklicherweise einen Heizlüfter im Zimmer. Teppich und Bettwäsche schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise fleckig. Schlechter Wifi-Empfang fast überall. Abendessen im Restaurant war merkwürdig improvisiert (Schüssel mit Reis und je ein kleiner Hühnchenschenkel). Fühlte sich an, als ob das Restaurant eigentlich keine Gäste erwartet hat.

Correct pour la nuit et avant de partir à Haputale.

La salle de bain très jolie et le petit déjeuner TB. Le personnel était très accueillant et gentil car ils nous ont accueilli en moins de 10 minutes : nous avions réservé à Haven chalet, à quelques pas de là et il y avait des souris !! Donc fuyez la guesthouse house citée.

Il faisait froid car c’est une région froide même si nous savions qu’on était en montagne. Équipement basique et sommaire mais correct pour y dormir une nuit.

Cozy

The hotel is very charming and walking distance from the main road. You can easily walk to the restaurants for some dinner. Staff are extremely helpful and considerate.... Breakfast was filling and delicious. Their signature omelette was delicious... Beds are so comfortable.... You'll definitely enjoy your stay here if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya....

Unique design

Beautiful room, nice breakfast, very nice staff.

No fan or A/C, no screens on the windows, so keeping the windows closed to avoid flying mosquitoes made the room a little stuffy.

Great stay!

We had a great time! Staff were excellent. The hotel was within walking distance to the city.

It was a family reunion where there were nine of us. We had a great time ! The food was excellent and the premises were clean. Rooms were very comfy.

Good but need to fix issues quicker.

Room was nice and spacious, building was really nice and staff were helpful.

Door was broken to our apartment which made it really difficult to come and go, I don't think the room should have been rented with this, couldn't have stayed more than one night. Also lots of flies in the room on arrival. Mentioned this but nothing was fixed.

Top verblijf!

Heerlijke tussenstop op doorreis van Kandy naar Ella. Goed ontvangst en centraal gelegen. Vanwege het mindere weer hadden ze zelfs even de verwarming aangedaan voor ons! Het was ook mogelijk om de baggage in het hotel te laten terwijl wij in de ochtend op trip gingen. Geen probleem! Fijn dat er zo voor je wordt gezorgd en wordt meegedacht!
