Clean, comfortable, well appointed, well situated.

Spacious, clean, well appointed room. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Washing machine was clean but dryer filter had not been cleaned by previous user. Good sized kitchen area with a good choice of utensils.

The night light in the bathroom was on a sensor and only worked intermittently. The dryer filter was not cleaned. The guide on the TV gave you no program information and was hard to navigate a chanel change. The garbage bin in the kitchen area was divided into recycling and landfill. The divider was so bulky that it was hard to put anything into it. There's a good sized kitchen and a tiny bin which made it difficult to cook a meal. I understand they want to recycle, but the bathroom bin was bigger. Please put a bigger bin in the kitchen.

rest and relax

We loved the location, close to bus exchange and eateries was a 10 minute walk. The staff are very helpful, they let us store our bags until checkin. The studio was very clean and the bed was vert comfy.

Great location. Very clean spacious rooms. Little high just down the road.

It’s very convenient for us and have stayed 7 or 8 times over the years. The shame of it is the single beds are so narrow and tiny and unfortunately didn’t get a great sleep

Excellent Location

The location is superb. Lots of eateries around the corner and a short walk to the Riverside market. The shower in the room is fantastic. Beds and pillows are comfortable. I will come to stay again when I’m coming to Christchurch and

An oasis in the city centre

Manager was lovely and offered suggestions where best coffee was etc.... he was not wrong. The Quest is a stones throw from the inner city which made shopping an $8 uber back...lol. The bed was comfortable and the shower is really good. You can mirror your phone to the tv to watch all your streaming services. Yep i watched game kf thrones non stop. They have great plunger coffee for the room. The cleaning staff are lovely and helpful. It was a really pleasant stay.

Internet is open and not secured. I had a vpn so felt safe enough.

the hotel wifi / Internet was not working very well . I tried calling the staff to work out internet 3 times , but very un luck , they can not fix at all.

I highly recommend and I will definitely be back!

The room was big and clean and honestly it was a really great place to stay for an affordable price and would highly recommend it for others!

The only thing which again is not a deal breaker but it was really loud at night time I’m not sure what the noises were but yeah other than that it was perfect. Also I put my earplugs in and my cousin put his headphones on and it didn’t bother us at all.

Ok value for money

Location was good since it had a food hub and really nice cafes nearby. It was also a good walking distance from the city centre. Parking was easy and convenient as long as you book a spot in advance. Complete kitchen and washroom features!

The window in our room was small, but this is probably to keep temperature warm?. There was nobody manning the reception desk on the day of check-in due to the easter holiday which is understandable. Getting the keycard from the lock was not a problem but having to wait a few mins to talk to someone through a speakerphone at the entrance of Quest was not a very warm or inviting experience.

Fair hotel but much better options

There were only few walk able dinner options, only fast food. No on site parking & difficult to find street parking. Front desk personnel leave @ ~6 pm , we had a tough time trying to check in. Rooms were fair and we will not return .

Always good, highly professional service and consistent quality. A comfortable stay.

The ease and consistency of standards at this Quest complex. You know what to expect and that quality is there. The staff were responsive to our requests. we didn't have to worry about anything so our time was ours to use.

There was a maintenance issue where a fan was very noisy. The staff were very responsive and fixed this as it was noisy. They then reported back to us re how this was being repaired. This was well handled.
