The room was fine, fairly modern, a bit basic but decent value for the price. Noisy A/C and fridge, but again, all good
Late check-in charged us 20E extra out of a booking that was supposed to cost 68E. That is a 30% extra!!!
Not only, the reception never replied to the phone for the whole evening even before the "check in closure".
We were "welcomed" very rudely saying that the doors had to be closed (what?! is it not a 24/7 access once checked in?) and so we were to rush our stuff inside.
Ironically, right after arrived other two groups of travellers.
The lift was switched off at night, meaning notwithstanding the premium, we had to drag our heavy luggages two floors up.

The dividing walls between rooms were too thin and we could hear everything. I suppose they could hear us as well.

It was one of the cheapest we could find.
We used the hotel as a mere "home base" for exploring the city and region, and to be honest, that is all what it could be used for, since the hotel would not qualify as entertaining to stay in.
the view was horrible. the busiest street was right in front of our only window, so opening the window to let the cool evening italian air in at night was not possible. AC was available, however I prefer natural evening air.

Great location near trainstation and close to Center. Good working WiFi and airco 👍🏻👍🏻
All was fine.
4.0
1. The location, right opposite to Mantova train station, 10-15min walk to most tourist attractions.
2. Reception staff look welcoming and always helpful.
3. Aircon strong enough for such hot weather (35°C outdoor)
4. Got a small fridge inside the room.
Some common issues you could find in hotels:
1. The room is a bit small, ok for one person (normal size) , but too tiny for someone tall/fat or for two people. (Also the toilet bowl is too close to the sink)
2. Shower cubicle a bit blocked.
3. Sound proof quite poor, could hear people at the corridor speaking (could almost hear exactly what they say without opening the room door).

The location was directly opposite the station, although a little hard to find because of checking in with staff to a different hotel. However it all worked and I was extremely happy with the room. The room led out onto a courtyard where you could sit and have something to eat or drink. The courtyard was quite shady and away from the heat, which was a lot when I was there. You go in the front door, then you go out the back into a courtyard, from here you room is on the ground floor, with shutters. You can exist the courtyard through a passageway to the next street. The street to the left leads you to the old town, a few minutes walk. It is a really good position as you dont have to drag your bags a long way. The room is really good. Staff are excellent. I asked for a late checkout as our train wasnt going till 12.30 and I thought she may give us an hour from 10 till 11 however she said we could stay till 12.30 so so nice and accommodating. We didnt need to stay till 12.30 however I would say they went beyond and I am so appreciative. I will come back, maybe with more family.
Thinking I wasnt going to find the hotel.

Good staff, good location, good private parking but is not free. 3 minutes walt to the center. Also graund ( zero) floor is available which is really checkin and check out. Breakfast is ok
There is no signboard or any other pointer with name of this hotel. Hotel has another naming and you can spend a lot of time during you can find hotel.

Location on very good spot (close to train station), easy to park car and walk to the center. Few restaurants and bars in the area.

Spacious, well equipped and many thoughtful things provided for a comfortable stay. The hotel entrance is conveniently right in front of the train station (note the name may be different to your booking) but it is formed of different residences and so is not noisy from the trains. my room was in a lovely old building. It was a ten minute walk to the old centre but also close to buses.
I took a budget room and so I was on the ground floor and couldn’t open my shutters. The room was still very secure. there was a little bit of street noise. You may want to spend a little more for a quieter room.

Great city centre location with onsite parking which is 20 Euros a day, 5 minute walk to the main piazzas, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a good size, clean, if a little tired with a motel kind of vibe.
Checking in is tricky if you don't know where the car park entrance is, as it faces a very busy road in front of the station and the entrance is a tight squeeze for a VW Golf, be aware!

The room was spacious, with beautiful inlaid wood floors and large windows facing the courtyard, so also quite quiet. The hotel is steps from the train station, so very conveniently located for arrival and departure while a broad quiet street accessed from the entrance opposite the station takes you on a 10-15 minute walk to centro storico with its many monuments, shops and restaurants. I did not have the time to eat at the hotel, however the coffee bar off the lobby offered a handy espresso. Well worth a visit!
