Posizione Super
Molto spartano, ma per il prezzo ed il mio soggiorno di solo 1 notte è stato perfetto.
Dovessi andare più notti, valuterei bene.

Perfect location; easy to arrive by car and a parking space directly opposite. In the historic centre but also right by the lake.
The hosts were welcoming, the rooms were spotless and comfortable.
There was some noise from the road, but that is to be expected given the location.
Nothing - all good

The very friendly owner greeted us. The room had a modern bathroom and a comfy bed. It was spacious and clean and had a view of the lake. The breakfast was delicious. We were able to leave our bags there after checking out. It is in a great location in a lovely little town with some interesting sights and walks.

The breakfast was delicious, with a great choice. And the bedroom was spacious & comfortable, and importantly, the staff were very friendly!
Nothing! It was all fabulous!

The following aspects have been appreciated:
- Staff
- Big and cleaned bedroom and bathroom
- Services in the bedroom and bathroom were good (minibar, hairdryer,…)
Nothing to mention among the negative aspects.

First of all please note this is a B&B, not a hotel - but in an ideal location for visiting Mantova. I was given an apartment at the first floor, facing the lake. (Please note there is an ongoing building site right in front, so beware the construction noise during working days.) The apartment was very good in size but somehow underfurnished - some shelves were missing from the wardrobe, and a small table would be useful in the hallway. I cannot fault the cleanliness, and I was pleasantly surprised by the daily room service, given it's a B&B. I also appreciated the fairly large minbar.
Breakfast - it's what is called an "Italian breakfast", so beware if you prefer a hearty, full breakfast to start your day. Then, and mainly, is the fact the elderly lady that manages breakfast can be rather impolite, and it's not that she does not speak English well, as she understands the language well. Guests are rudely instructed where to stay in the very small reception that also serves as breakfast room, and not allowed to choose their own food! That may be a remanence of pandemic restrictions, enforced dictatorially, but is really displeasing in the morning. Not only is the variety at breakfast limited, they run out of goods - "we don't have another cream croissant" - they had only one! Again, maybe it's not necessarily the scarcity of breakfast but the attitude of the elderly hostess. Other things include only Italian channels on TV, and the mattress that I felt uncomfortable.

My room with a separate private bathroom was very attractive, spacious and clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful The breakfast was great. The location was very good, a few minutes walk from the center and close to the lake. I fully recommend it. (Try to visit the amazing Theatre Bibiena across the road)

excellent location, kind and helpful host, good bathroom, spacious room with air conditioning, delicious and generous breakfast with fresh pastries, good value for money
it is a personal preference, but I find very hard orthopaedic mattresses very uncomfortable, but the mattresses were new and if you like hard orthopaedic mattresses it will be good

Martina and Marinella could not have been better hosts - they went above and beyond, waiting for us to return early morning to ensure we had got to our parking position, even fixing my driving glasses. The room was large, air con and very comfortable in a traditional way. all in all very pleasant and memorable experience
nothing to say here!

our room was large. pillows and bed were good. the staff couldn’t have been nicer.
very basic accommodations and purview of the lake was diminished by the construction between the hotel and the lake.

A really nice old building and it is like you are a local living there. The young lady who greeted me with the keys and information was very helpful. I loved staying here. Also had a nice little balcony where I could sit in the sun and drink their free coffee.

Very nice stay. The location is perfect, easy to reach by car and few minutes' walk from the center. Owners are super nice, the room was very large and comfortable. The owners even reserved a parking spot for us so we could park next to the hotel.

This hotel it is a quite small and very well managed, it is divided in two main buldings distan maybe 50 or 60 mts between them, near a big parking lot and near at least 3 places where you can have a good local and traditional food.
Staff very very polite and helpfully
Very close to downtown, indeet walking no mora than 10 mintes you re in the heart of Mantova
Only a small but important comment.
VWe spent one night in "Virgilio" room
Room was perfect, the only small comment it is there it is no elevator so you have to carry your bags by stairs.
Not a big issue honestly but just to let know.
