Galgorm is absolutely stunning- I was expecting more of a historic castle stay, but it was massive and beautiful. The hotel runs along a river that makes a pleasant rapids sound at night. It was our anniversary, and the staff left us a card- really nice touch. There were restaurants and bars within the grounds (see below)- the bar was great. Very comfortable bed, really great stay. The thermal spa was also really nice and a cool experience for someone who has never really been to a spa before- I would've loved to book the riverside private tubs as they are beautiful! Breakfast was delicious and in the beautiful tea space.
It's expensive, as you can expect from this sort of place. My husband didn't love his massage, but mine was great. We booked dinner at Fratelli's, which was mostly just okay.

The Hotel was a great location for us because we didn’t have to far to travel .
The bed in our cottage wasn’t comfortable 🤔 It could do with more signage about the place because it’s so big an area to cover !!

Amazing stay. Loved the beautiful spa. Loved the free snacks in the room. Great cafe in the spa. Highly recommend. Even had chocolates in our room with a card for our anniversary.

We stayed in one of the cottages , very clean and well kept , gardens were lovely and all the facilities too were very clean , amazing hot tubs and pools , food in gillies grill was beautiful esp breakfast . The staff were all very helpful and friendly , a joy to stay here .
Nothing , we loved every minute here , couldn’t fault anything .

the spa was beautiful and the bed were extremely comfy
we were woken up at 8am to loud repeated banging. we weren’t informed of building work and this lasted the whole morning until check out. We had dinner we’ve previously dined in gillies previously and was disappointed so we decided to try Fratellis. Service was slow had to repeatedly ask for items that we asked for , and really didn’t enjoy the food. we we’re also told they didn’t serve pints of Guinness or any drafts however the table next to us the server went to the bar beside and said it was no problem it something they would normally do but we were told bottles only for beer.

The cottage was lovely would love to go back again
We were in the new cottage 26 we couldn't open the door from the inside it took use 5 mins to get it open the lock got stuck is a danger If there was a fire you wouldn't be able to open the door and get out

The accommodation and spa experience
I would have preferred to be able to check in between 1.00pm & 2.00pm 3.00pm seemed to late.
4.7
lodges we’re great. definitely not worth the money though as you don’t get the ‘galgorm experience’
lodges and check in are a little out of the way. for the amount paid it’s didn’t feel as though we were in the galgorm. not enough direction to get into hotel and spa.
4.7
The place was just angelic. It was beautiful and so clean.
It was very busy so didn't get to use some facilities as they where crowded.
