Friendly staff however lot of money of what we had

The staff are the pub we’re lovely

The rooms and the value for money, the room wasn’t as nice as we expected for the price we didn’t have a bath and had two single beds pushed together, the lighting was poor and very cold in the room.

Good accommodation for price, would book again

Large room, at back of hotel away from road and hence quiet, partial view of New Forest from window. Room warm. Staff helpful , carrying cases etc. car parking good

Water in shower went from hot to cold and vice versa at times. Some confusion about rules re dogs- where you could sit at breakfast, how much supplement would be added to bill for having a dog, confusion over whether dog had been paid for in price. Lot of steps (up and down a la Fawlty Towers) to get to room.

staff very friendly and helpful, especially Bunny and Muriel. rooms serviced well. shower powerful and beds comfortable. daughter loved sofa bed and also separate bath for end of day soak. central location in new forest and easy to get around, short walk to shops and high street

if in room near road you get a little noise from traffic due to single glazing but we still slept well

location was ideal, good parking

seem to be short handed in the kitchen meals were a little slow however worth the wait as the food was good. staff very friendly and helpful particularly the welcome staff member on Saturday afternoon and the staff on this morning

the bed wasn’t the comfiest, slightly small as well. the bar closed earlier at 9:30pm when was supposed to close at 10pm

Awful room depressing

The room was disgusting. Damp everywhere carpets dirty bathroom damp ceiling peeling sofa was stains all over it. Food was awful. Thinking of trying to get a refund. Definitely won’t be staying again
