We had a good stay here overall. The pool and spa facilities were included in the cost.
Spacious room. Comfy Bed. We used the pool, Jacuzzi, Steam room and Sauna. The Jacuzzi was excellent, hot and deep. The steam room and sauna were also good. The pool was warm enough, but not particularly deep. Okay to swim a few lengths though. At breakfast, the quality of the ingredients was variable (see below). The ham was outstanding, coffee was great, cucumber, bread, scrambled eggs, bacon and beans all good. We didn't try the fruit. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
As said the quality of some of the breakfast items was variable. We didn't think the sausages and hash browns were very good, neither were the tomatoes. The floor of the mens pool changing room was dirty. We only had de-caff coffee in our room. The booking-in process was very slow. It seemed like the staff had to enter loads of info. As we had signed up to the Hilton app, I'm sure a lot of the info was being needlessly duplicated. We went for a digital key. This didn't work when we tried to get it (hence why we had to sign in), apparently because the room wasn't ready but the app didn't make this clear. None of these were deal-breakers though, just a few little things that could be improved. We felt it was quite expensive but it was a Saturday night and every hotel in Bristol is expensive on a Sat!

Great facilities but the room was not up to scratch and potentially dangerous for children with exposed wires in broken
Location was good & facilities with swimming pool was great
There was a broken light switch in our room which we reported when discovered. Someone came to try and fix it at 930pm however my daughter had already poked her finger in the hole where the switch should have been where wires could be felt. The member of staff was unable to fix it and even got an electric shock when trying. He said he would call maintenance but had no idea how long it would take or if it could be fixed. Because we were with children we didnā€™t want to wait late into the night to get it fixed, we asked not to be disturbed past 1015pm, however nobody came in the time frame to fix the problem. We therefore had to sleep with the light on all night. The bathroom was dirty with thick black hair left in the plug hole and dirty marks on the bath and toilet.

Very disappointed ā˜¹ļø
Friendly staff, nice swimming pool.
The poor layout of the distance between bedrooms for our disabled gent and my room . Staff said the hotel was full and we couldnā€™t change rooms. It made it very difficult for me to look after him . They should have rang me and given me the option to cancel my booking (which I would have) had I had known my room was so far away from his.He is a vulnerable adult with a learning disability and he was frightened which I pointed out to the staff. No excuses!!
