Location was fine, Kitchen was well organised and clean. Would definitely recommend it. Also I thought I may have left something behind when I left - I asked about this, and was later contacted to say the cleaner confirmed there was nothing left, so I was impressed my query was properly dealt with. (I had in fact later dropped the item at a train station).

Small point. My room had blinds which didn't completely keep out sunlight when closed. So, staying in mid-June with excellent sunny weather, I was woken-up very early in the morning by the sunlight. As it happens, I wanted to wake early anyway, but this could be a problem for others.

Cosy

I liked that everything in the kitchen was provided to us, even detergent! There were also foldable racks to put your laundry on, and tons of space despite the fact that this place has 8 rooms. While, of course, it is difficult to comment about the roommates aspect since they'll always be changing, the rules in the house are clear as to who has what space and what belongs to who, and everyone has their own cutlery and crockery, and also some common ones to share on top of that.

It was a bit strange that one of the ovens, when opened, could short-circuit the whole house, but I'd imagine that that problem is solved now. It wasn't much of an issue anyway because there were 2 ovens, and we were able to contact the owner immediately to get it solved for us (he lives nearby).

Comfortable with good facilities and straightforward for an independent stay

The facilities in the house and the room were very good. The room itself was large and comfortable. The shared facilities were very good and the fridge / cupboard space welcome. It meant that being self-sufficient and independent was straightforward. Desk space in the room was generous. Messages were responded to promptly during my stay and the host was extremely helpful when I need assistance carrying my luggage out.

I understood that there was off road parking though this may have been my error. Parking near the house was difficult a couple of times and important for me as I was taking in and out music equipment and also was experiencing back problems during my time there. Similarly the narrow and twisted staircase made access difficult for me and carrying heavy cases and bags near impossible. (The host was very helpful in this respect, see above).

Shower had poor water pressure and whenever I ran a bath, within a few minutes at least half the water had drained

The common areas were not cleaned properly on a daily basis.

Safe and great

My son stayed here for the week before his student accommodation was ready, it was literally round the corner from where he was moving to. Room was spotless and he said his bed comfortable. All the lodgers had plenty of space in kitchen for their own belongings. He said he felt safe which was the most important thing for us as he was only 16

Room was on the smaller side, but that's it.

Exceptional

I stayed at room 1 , it’s a large double room. Bathroom is just 10 steps from bedroom. Living room is attached with kitchen. Superb facilities!! Dishwasher Heater Washing machine Drying machine Iron board Microwave Oven fridge Friendly landlord

Cheap and cheerful student digs, 7/10 because the mattress is worn out and the shower is for hobbits

Very low cost and ideally located for access to MoD, Airbus, Rolls-Royce, GKN and UWE.

Excellent value for money.

Good way away from shops and a decent walk to nearest bus stops on filton main road. Cleanliness of house was great, bathrooms could've been better but otherwise great. Great washing and drying for laundry even includes a dishwasher.

The shower temperature tap was jammed or locked on very hot which made it uncomfortable to shower for long periods. Bathrooms had some stains between the tiles but nothing too major or discomforting.

Excellent services by the landlord and maid.

The WIFI network has been improved since I visited last time. The host is very good and helpful. The Housekeeper has done the excellent job.

It will be perfect If the towels can be changed every week for the long stay guest.

Bad

Extremely slow WiFi and disconnected frequently. Alive spider found in the room. Tumble dryer not working and maintenance came to “fix” it twice, still not sure will it work properly in future. The room overall is clean though.

It was clean but there were spiders and big flies came into my room everyday.
