Perfect location. Room was a tad claustrophobic, but beautifully decorated. Loved the bathtub. But, the shower was the size of a phone booth. Seemed a little under staffed for the amount of guests. Spa was wonderful and tranquil. Also, the uniform for the guest relations - wow I just have to say they were hideous. Something a little more stylish in French (it is France after all) would be in order for your staff!!
Location location location. Good secure parking was great!

Sehr grosses Frühstück wird serviert, wobei es auch recht teuer ist.
Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, in der Nähe der Altstadt.
Sehr bequemes Bett.
Die Zimmer sind sehr klein.
Ansonsten gab es nichts zu beanstanden

Good location, nice place.
Very junior staff.

The reception staff were very helpful when our car battery was flat.
Paid a high rate for an average room. Maintenance in room needed attention as quite a few things were broken. Bar Food in the evening was not great. Even the wait staff recommended not to eat there. Garden area was nice. Dog roaming through hotel and up to our table often was off putting. Overall, it was not a pleasant stay for us.

Location could not be bettered, hotel very attractive, staff attentive and helpful, very good continental breakfast.
We had a classic double room which was totally adequate for our 3 night stay. Excellent Air conditioning in room.
A comfortable chair in bedroom needed
Bar does not offer Cocktails…only Aperol Spritz and Champagne cocktail. Missing a trick, a good Mojito on a hot day would have been tempting. I did hear other guests disappointed no Cocktail’s available.
The odd whiff of drains in the bathroom…not all the time but ☹️

Location was superb at base of the old cite and castle just a 2 minute walk to the entrance. Boutique feel to the hotel with nice terrace and garden area and pool to cool off after exploring the castle . Cosy small rooms but comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Private car parking easy to access behind the hotel. The cite fort is free to enter and wander the alleys, courtyards and outside perimeter as well as the cathedral -amazing medieval and gothic architecture and lovely to see as sun sets and castle becomes lit up at night. Many nice spots to eat and drink, some hidden away under tree shaded courtyards and a jazz band was playing on a warm
summers evening which was entertaining. The castle and ramparts cost €9 to enter ( can also hire audio guides which gave interesting and detailed history) - can spend 1-2 hours exploring and wonderful views of carcassone from the towers and ramparts. Some fairly steep and narrow spiral staircases to negotiate especially when crowded so need good mobility. Wonderful historic experience despite the tourist shops - very glad we spent a night there. - a Kiwi review June 23

Not much
Rude front desk man couldn’t find my reservation and informed me the hotel was a 4 star hotel. I was told the hote was nice, but the check in guy started it off all wrong for me to infer I wasn’t at the right place. Then we got the smallest room ever for the most price I paid while in France and we stayed in Toulouse, Bordeaux and Lourdes. To me, the place was barely a 3 star with the attitude. Didn’t help with luggage, or anything else.

This hotel is just outside the entrance to the medieval city. An ideal location to explore. It is quiet & provides quality relaxing accommodation. Very comfortable room, light with quality amenities. Breakfast is extra & worth it. Quality produce provided. The wifi is unsecured. Hotels of this standard should provide a secure network. The staff are friendly & helpful.

Excellent location. Extremely nice rooms. Very clean and confortable.
We decided to eat supper at the hotel one evening after a long day. Our food was served in jars. Very tasteless. Wouldn’t recommend eating in the evenings.

The staff are absolutely amazing and the facilities are great. When we arrived we were allowed to check in early and the staff even showed us around a couple of suites so we could choose which one we liked. They do go the extra mile. Everyone has a smile on their face and we will definitely be back one day.
Croissants, pastries are not on par with what you'd expect with France. There is certainly a north/south divide on the quality. Don't expect Paris style croissants for breakfast, more like your local Tesco/Asda quality.

We liked the location and the staff were nice.
Our room has mould issues and heating on the first night dis not work. Although alerting the reception on arrival , we were told that the smell was because the room was not heated.
We had a busy day the next day, so in the first morning, we notified the reception about the heating and the smell. We were told that the issues would be sorted
Upon our return in the evening, the heating was still not working. The person from reception then investigated and discovered that the setting on the heating was not set on the winter time, which was impossible for us to discover.
On our checkout, we alerted the reception about the issues and even showed them photos taken.
We understand that issues happen. What we were not happy about is the attitude from "director" passing the message ciao reception stuff that we should say something earlier. Despite us alerting staff on 2 occasions, we were made feel like it is our fault that we experienced the issues.
The hotel (our room junior suite) is in dépendances, and the heating is via Air conditioning. The room obtains a lot of condensation and creates great conditions for black mould to thrive. The problem is there is there is no adequate heating and maintenance (cleaning was not the issue), and that's why there is a mould problem.
Shame, that the hotel of that statue allows that to happen.

The hotel is very nice, in an excellent location for the old City, it was clean, modern, welle quipped and with very friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location, secure parking for motorbikes. Everyone working there were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Finally having 2 dogs and a cat in residence should be a hotel essential 😁
