The location was great offering fantastic views.
The staff was also very polite and helpful.
Our room was very small, the minibar smelled bad, no tea and coffee making facilities.
The earliest they serve dinner is 8pm!
Food quality at dinner was poor. Starters were acceptable but mains were virtually inedible.
Breakfast needs to be better organised, ideally with a buffet, allowing guests to choose their preferred items rather than serving them without asking.

place is really old and fascinating, staff is friendly and room very big
just parking is an issue as it's along the main road, very narrow

This was an amazing stay. You will not regret choosing this hotel. clean, tastefully decorated, beautiful rooms, friendly staff. There’s nothing not to like about this place! I arrived at night and the next morning was treated to a jaw-dropping view of the valley. Do yourself a big favor and book this hotel.

Very clean, comfortable and great atmosphere! We stayed there because our car broke down, so it was an unexpected stop, but we enjoyed it very much and it made our day ten times better!

Location, old world feel, beautiful rustic interior, nice restaurant on site, parking
A.C. did not work.

The location was wonderful. Sat on top of the hill looking out over the valley. The town itself is beautifully situated a shortish drive from Salerno where we had to drop off the car the next morning.
Staff in the restaurant were excellent especially given there appeared to be only one other couple in the hotel that night. Food was fine and the wine was welcome - other dining options in the town were few and far between. The view from the restaurant table was wonderful.
Breakfast was disappointing - there were pastries and standard continental salamis, cheese etc but none particularly fresh or appealing.
Because the hotel was very quiet it was sometimes difficult to find staff. I wondered why whoever installed the lift decided to put it inside the tower after which the hotel is named - the tower would have been much better used as common areas or the dining room - even guest rooms.
