The staff were so very helpful and kind.
I had the full English, and it was excellent my husband only had toast. I think when he saw my lovely food, he wished he had order one.!
We had been to a 70th birthday party for lunch so only had a light supper. (soup) and a bowl of chips
lovely.

Food excellent. A good stay

Fascinating historical building. Very good restaurant The Duke. The a la carte breakfast was tasty. Extraordinary helpful staff. Location in the very heart of the town.
The rooms need some renovation and technical enhancements like refrigerators, charging sockets near the bed and so on. The mattresses are too soft. The ventilation hole in the bathroom is systematically skipped by the cleaners. The wifi is just awful everywhere in the building. Given that, I find that the accommodation is a bit overpriced.

Nice Italian resturant called prego on the high street
Hotel food terrible atrocious appalling! Made me vomit throughout the night. Superior room dated and the bed was akin to a camp bed. Location nothing to do. A scruffy little road witha couple of cheap scruffy shops. Two pubs full of teenagers and kids. Waste of time and money. Avoid!

It was all great, particularly the staff.

Exceedingly friendly staff providing a very good service. Ideal location for exploring Buckingham and surrounding areas.
Channeled music was awful. Needs bigger variety and a wider appeal to all ages.

Location in centre of town with parking on site.
Food was excellent. Staff very attentive & polite.
Fire Alarm on arrival so couldn't check in immediately. Amother Fire Alarm just as we were going down for Dinner. Spent time outside while staff checked the building. All dealt with efficiently. On our return, we went to the bar but no Barman was available. The Fire in the Bar was very smoky so door was open which meant we were cold so had to sit with our coats on .

- Great staff (including the hotel manager who is amazing and very sweet).
- Beautiful restaurant and Laura Ashley Tea Room.
- Super comfortable beds.
- Warm and cozy interior decor
- Perfect lighting which allows us to fully relax and chill.
Room faces the courtyard and we can fully open the windows to get fresh air, while the heating is keeping the room warm. Bathroom is fab and the shower is hot enough with sufficient power. The amenities, variety of teas, coffee (and espresso machine), bottled water, and cookies are all abundant and pleasant.

I nice Indian restaurant across the road
I have stayed in the Villiers on many occasions over the years. it was always a nice hotel to stay. However this time the room was drab, needed decorating, far too noisy with outside noise and people walking past the room door.

Location - within walking distance of relatives
Have stayed here many times over the years. First visit since Covid - very sad to see the decline in the maintenance of the guest areas - staircases corridors etc. Our room and particularly the bathroom was looking very tired.

I loved everything the location , the decor , the room itself the fact it had parking . I must give credit to the staff they were exceptional they went above and beyond for my stay .
The only minor issue I had was the toilet . It did not flush instantly .

It was perfect - staff were helpful, food was divine, room was amazing, bath was sensational and everything went so smoothly. We hope to stay again in the future.
If we had to think of something it would have been nice to have a hot chocolate option in the room as neither of us drink tea or coffee.

Good location, staff were all excellent, especially Holly on reception, her smile and lovely manner are a credit to her and the hotel. Welcome was even better with the complimentary drink for being ‘guests of the day’.
We would have preferred a more supportive mattress, room 110, as we were only staying 1 night we didn’t ask to be moved.
4.0
lovely period property, large room and large en suite, staff really helpful and friendly
breakfast wasn’t very good. small portion, terrible coffee.
rooms are tired looking and low quality of decoration.
