Great location moments from Nice bars and restaurants, free parking was great and we could park before our room was ready and after check out. Room had everything you need, comfy bed, hot water, television and kettle witea and coffee. There was ample space to put our small cases too. They also have breakfast if you want. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

the bed and shower/toilet room was very small. for me fine as I’m small but my partner is much taller a medium build so found it more uncomfortable than me.

We had a very friendly welcome and the facilities were great. As we had a very short night's stay (an early ferry to catch in the morning), I did not get to enjoy the lounge or the breakfast. However, I could imagine this place to be absolutely amazing when travelling with friends.
Several people around my room also had dogs. Unfortunately they weren't as well behaved as mine and barked through most of the night. While I understand why they might want a "pet wing", spacing out the rooms that have pets in them could avoid one dog setting another off or dogs meeting in the corridors. The walls are thin and I was woken several times throughout the night due to barking dogs.

wonderful host, wonderful breakfast!

Friendly, comfortable, stylish, warm, great facilities, excellent breakfast, quiet central location, parking
For us we found the standard size double bed a little small - we really prefer a King size bed.

My car had a flat tyre and I had no tools to fix it, and the owner of the hostel helped me to change the tyre. Thanks to him I was able to get to the Eurotunnel in time.

Location and cleaniness standards are very good
The price for the room i had i think is a bit too much
The water pressure in the shower in the room is very weak
I think breakfast should have some choice of fruit
Some complimentary water in the room would be lovely
Coffee is really not strong at all. I mean the coffee should be black and not transparent

Close to the town, beach and Leas Cliff hall. Beds were comfortable. Also a small fridge and microwave is available in the corridor for guests to use. Kettle with coffee and tea is also available in the room. Very friendly and helpful. We could park the car safely on the driveway.
Bathroom was a tight fit for larger people

This is the second time we stay at The Wycliffe and it has become our go-to place in Folkestone. The first time we stayed there it was because there wasn't anything else available anywhere else, this time we stayed there because we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. What we love about it is the familiar feeling you get from the moment you check in, like staying at a relative's home.
Thanks Sharon for always welcoming us with a smile (even when both time we have been slightly late, sorry!)

A warm welcome from Sharon. Good to put our breakfast order in the night before as we needed to make a sharp exit to the tunnel in the morning.
Breakfast was on time, lovely and ample.
Asked for local recommendations, we followed them and they were great.
appreciated the mini-fridge on our landing for my fresh milk for my beverages, didn't use the microwave.
Off-road parking is ideal.

Location perfect for eurotunnel. Comfortable, large room for our family of 5.
The bathroom was really very small, although manageable for 1 night.
