Loved the location on the seafront. Good sized rooms. I stayed in two because my trip was extended.
Staff insist on playing music constantly. It's the same few songs repeatedly. Even at breakfast when you're trying to enjoy the sights and sounds of the coast

Room and breakfast was great, friendly staff and beautiful views. Bed was comfortable and the bath in the room was a real treat for a romantic get away.
We found the food in the Resturant to not meet our standards considering prices.

Location and old style feel to the place
Could of paid a bit more attention to detail in room ie no milk for tea or coffee. Tv stand was broken just small details but easily fixed

Where we needed to be
Public areas rather scruffy. Bar food only and all very systemised. Parking very expensive and limited.

it is clean, and the staff are very friendly.
It is dog friendly which is critical for me.
The Food produced by the restaurant was excellent. Extremely tasty and very good value.
It also appeared extremely quickly which is a virtue so often overlooked.
It is in a perfect position for golfing at Royal Cinque Ports.
My golfing friend , Ross Jones, and I are agreed that £185 for bed and breakfast Is really pricey. I know that these are difficult times and that hotels have to try and catch up the revenue they lost during Covid but even so these are prices for really high quality hotels in London. Mr Jones also was unimpressed at the hot water pressure in his bedroom; he says that it took him 15 minutes to run a bath.
We both agree that to use the cloud for Wi-Fi rather than your own network is certainly not consistent with a price of £185. The Wi-Fi did not work in the bar, although it did work in the bedrooms.
These points aside, we were both very happy with the service provided.
