Rooms were clean and presentable
Wide range of facilities available in the room
Some staff were proactive and great, some were more dormant providing the standard service
Menu options weren't amazing. Run out of mussels next to the sea
3.8
Location, free parking, good breakfast
Room is a little small, but ok.
3.8
Lovely location clean and friendly staff. Dog friendly areas where we could eat dinner and breakfast
1st floor room not ideal when travelling with a dog.
3.8
Central location
Lack of sound proofing. It’s been done up but poorly- toilet seat to one side, other fixtures poorly fitted . Toilet brush smelled and container was rusty. Could hear people upstairs snoring and floors very creaky.
3.8
Comfy beds, easy check in. Gorgeous location!
Everything was good!
3.8
Competent, friendly, efficient staff
Room good and beds comfortable. Plenty of hot water. A good hot towel rail to dry our cycling kit on. Very good breakfast ( and good value). Evening meal was pretty good and well priced
All was good

The hotel has been fully refurbished since I started staying there 4 years ago and is excellent.
The meal in the new Restaurant and the breakfast in the morning were excellent.

Location, decor, service
2nd floor room, no lift. But manageable

Location, location, location. Plus obviously it's character charm. We loved it and will return.

Nothing.

Central, clean and comfortable for one night stay.
Nice bar and restaurant facilities, good breakfast.
Bathroom sink was tiny and shower hard to operate

Nice spacy room
Shower water pressure low

Exceeded expectations..decent sized bathroom.

Lovey old hotel that has been well looked after and modernised tastefully. Dinner in The Caley Inn was really good. Well positioned in Ullapool with a fab view of the loch and harbour.
Breakfast was quite pricy on top of the room rate.
3.8
The hotel had been recently modernised and to a good standard
3.8
Excellent location right next to Ullapool harbour; on the famous North Coast 500 route.
Nice clean rooms and well appointed.
Also, the recent refurbishment of the hotel has done wonders, feels a lot better now as it was well overdue a revamp!
The breakfast wasn’t that great, buffet style which is always good, but the items had seen better days when I went up for my helpings!

We loved the location and the views where ever you looked. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond for us.
Tesco store just a short walk up the road.
We wanted to eat in the restaurant but they were very short staffed in the kitchen which resulted in us finding else where to eat. If your a massive lover of fish then bonus but unfortunately we arnt so was difficult.

We stayed in this hotel as we were catching a ferry early the next day and it’s location was perfect. It was quite expensive but the hotel was clean, comfortable and ideally located. We booked last minute so it may be cheaper in advance.

Great hotel, good location and excellent staff.

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

Good location, nice welcome & offered both evening meal & breakfast as not pre- booked.
No space on the hotel car park, no wifi or tv working in the room - one of the receptionists did try to help but we could only get BBC 2 on the tv & wifi in the bathroom! For one night it was ok.
3.8
Great location a few minutes walk to the seafront. The hotel smelled great throughout and room was very clean with a comfy bed. . Plenty of parking at the back. Fine for a one night stop over
Shower was very weak, barely a trickle. Took a long time to wash shampoo out of my hair. Reported to reception who were very apologetic. However noticed other reviewers saying the same so hopefully they'll fix at some point. Very creaky floorboards, I felt for whoever was staying the floor below! No lift. Generally feels dated and wouldn't recommend for an extended stay. One night was fine.

The staff I interacted with were all awesome. The room was well designed and comfortable.
My room was closest to the carpark and the doors from the carpark to reception and the stairs to the upper floors. You couldn't have asked for a noisier room! I asked for a quiet room. And there were cobwebs above the bed.

location
very creaky floorboards and very noisy neighbours above us

Nice 'Period' hotel conveniently located for the sea front and amenities of Ullapool.
Well appointed bedrooms with comfy beds and nice linen.
Good for a short or long stay.
Decent value overall.
Breakfast was extra.....

Staff were very attentive and made my stay a pleasant experience. The food was excellent and a reasonable price. The room was very comfortable and catered for all my needs as a solo traveller.
No negative things to say.
