Wifi not accessible from Room 6. That cost me plenty in additional roaming charges.

Really nice hotel and location. Very friendly and helppful staff.. Breakfast ok.

Nothing
Property in a very poor state of repair with glass missing from windows, peeling paintwork and generally very run down. Stained upholstery in the bedroom and nowhere to hang clothing, shower switch broken so difficult to operate also a potential danger.
All of the above issues were raised with staff only to be told no manger was available to address this and during our four night stay no one contacted us to discuss the concerns raised. We also contacted yourselves via email to raise our concerns on 12 September 2023 but we have as yet had no response which we found rather disappointing. We have a number of photographs of the property which we would like to share with you and would appreciate your response so the matter can be resolved.

It was clean
Pretty soulless room with pretty fundamental furnishings. Bathroom was spotless but a pathetic shower and poor layout. The hotel boiler clicked in and out all night (welcome to the wide awake club)
4.0
Great location on the shore, room was clean.
Poor quality room requiring manintenance. Breakfast is served at another local hotel.

Nothing
Dated, smelly and uninviting, and grossly overpriced
7.0
Attentive and warm staff on arrival ,rooms are very basic ,but practical for an overnight stay
The accommodation could do with a facelift and modernisation , for the price charged for a room

Food was very good, staff were lovely and room view of loch broom very nice, everything in room worked, bed clean and comfortable, nice towels.
Quite run down overall, needs painting, decorating and new carpets, remove carpet from bathrooms.

No breakfast provided, which to be fair I was told about, but felt that the price for what was pretty shabby accommodation was way too much. I spent 3 nights in Oban for £11 more. Go figure it.
Potentially great location, however, not good enough facilities to justify high price.
The hotel has an overriding smell of stale beer. Whilst I do appreciate that it is primarily a pub, I would expect the bedroom to be free of this. I slept very badly with this smell permeating my room. Couldn't leave quickly enough in the morning. Needs a lot of TLC

Food was disappointing

Location and good pub although I didn't use it this time. Also takes dogs.
Bit basic and bed not too comfortable.
2.0
Close to the ferry so I didn't have to drive in the dark, gracious hostess, dog friendly, nice little pub downstairs, good Ceasar salad for dinner
Drove past it in the dark, not well lit, had to find a place to turn around to go back, had to literally squeeze past bins to get in the door, room was tiny & cold, radiator barely worked, no heat at all in bathroom, toilet seat only barely attached to bowl by 1 bolt, kettle had a layer of black mold in the bottom. Tried to get my dog to sleep on the bed for warmth but she's been trained not to so I slept in my clothes. Poorly maintained, rundown & overpriced. Wish I'd driven in the dark to the next town.

The breakfast was good and location was convenient.
The windows were single glazing, old and draughty, not ideal in December during snowy conditions.

very very basic and cleanliness only just acceptable. badly in need of refurbishment. lots of stairs.

Location
Very small room. Lack of plug sockets. Just not worth the money.

Fantastic view in the room above the restaurant, which was not too loud during our three-night stay. Convenient location and we were delightfully surprised by the daily cleaning service.
WiFi was too weak for any laptop work.

Our room was very cold, despite pathetic electric radiator on all the time to attempt to warm it. We were very grateful for the extra blanket which was needed all night. Tea and coffee facilities were good, but kettle did not fit under tap on wash hand basin, television ok. The bathroom was clean enough, yet rather small, It was necessary to go into the bedroom to dress where it was warmer anyway. The bed was comfortable, which was good as we got into it to keep warm as soon as we had eaten our meal.
Very draughty with ancient sash windows and no heating in bathroom. I appreciate it was a very cold February night, but am concerned that no double glazing on windows will lead to high fuel costs. Stairwell also not heated. Doors noisy when opened and shut. The website for 'Blue Kazoo Seafood Restaurant' belied the reality. As we were celebrating 50 years of meeting/ anniversary, we hoped for a delicious seafood meal. I appreciate the weather would cause difficulties, but the standard of cooking was disappointing, I would be ashamed to serve such food to anyone, let alone expect to pay for it - a small piece of stale bread and overcooked prawns and fish in the ' special seafood soup', at least it kept our jaws moving and was warm and filling. 'seasonal vegetables' were ok, but uninspiring and We have had better fish and chips and fish pie at home and elsewhere. The coffee was undrinkable, being so strong and bitter. The worn tables by the draughty sash window may have been pleasant in summer, but it was no better than a 'pub meal' and no attempt to have any ambiance or atmosphere. Service was carried out efficiently but with a rather bored, sullen attitude. A smile would have been nice!

I was hungry after a nine hour drive.the kitchen was closed after 21.00 .shame bar food was not available until 22.00 at least.

Dated bathroom with poor shower, and heating. But it was cheap, in their defence.

Window didnt fit resulting in room being draughty and cold. my stay was in December with external temperature below zero, room had one small electric heater on the wall and no heater in the bathroom, for £90 per night it was a huge waist of money, avoid
