I'll be back!!

WOW! I love this hostel! It is very convenient to the ferry terminal. It is roomy and well-maintained. Everyone is so very nice. And the VIEW of the loch from my window!! I will make a point to stay here again.

There is nothing bad about this hostel at all...nothing.

Lovely accommodation for exploring North West Scotland.

Perfect location on the Ullapool harbour coast. Springboard to exciting walking area. Eating places within easy 5 minute walk. Staff very pleasant. Multiple occupancy rooms had enough space and secure cupboards if required.

The kitchen area was overcrowded with equipment. Expected a bit better housekeeping after the shut down for winter. Towel rent a bit steep but then it was a bath sheet so perhaps excusable! Couples need to be aware available space is at a premium and may find themselves sleeping in separate dorms.

Superb

Very clean and tidy, with plenty of kitchen space and ample food storage. The lounge area is comfortable and clean. The beds are super comfy which is always a bonus!

A small irritance in the shared dorms- there is only one plug and an extension lead so charging your phone is a bit annoying as you have 4 sockets between 5 people. Bring a power bank if your phone struggles with charge like mine does!

Great clean and nice hostel to stay in

The cleanest hostel I have been to. The toilets were soo clean, it was amazing. Staff was very friendly . Location was really good.

The doors for the room were very squeaky, so whenever someone entered or exited the room we would get waken up cause of the noise, that should be repaired or taken care of .

Great location, pleasant and comfortable accommodation.

Great location in Central Ullapool yet our family room was quiet. Access to complimentary coffee, tea and milk appreciated as were facilities for rustling up a substantial breakfast and comfortable dining and lounge area. Friendly welcome by staff.

If I was being picky I'd say not all the bunks in our rooms had shelves and the lighting could have been less harsh and a little more flexible - but these are really small criticisms.

We had a 4-bunk bedroom for the family. It was a good price and we had an ensuite shower/toilet, which a lot of hostels don't seem to have. Located on the main road we did manage to find a parking space for the night near but there were parking restrictions and longer stays would need to sort out alternative parking.
