Pleasant but disappointed with hotel.

Room was comfy and clean. Bathroom could do with some touch ups but otherwise was nice.

Waited 45 mins for just a main meal and only 6 people in restaurant. Food nice but stingy dauphinois potato (size of 2 stamps together!) Breakfast continental not as stated. Ran out of orange juice and danish by 9.30 and breakfast finished at 10.00. No cold meats or cheese despite showing in menu. Coffee awful and no coffee machine either.

No storage for clothes, I.e. cupboard or a chest of drawers in our room. Somewhere to hang and store clothes.

Just what we wanted, good price, not far from town centre.

Plenty to choose from, staff very professional and friendly,

Nothing every thing was fine .I had problems with shower control, once reported it was listed for repair, we were only there for two days so was not a problem.

okay but expensive for the quality

lovely hotel and location, staff seemed nice enough.

in our room, the sheets weren’t on the bed properly, there was a red wine stain on the carpet (I think) and a broken towel rail in the bathroom. there was also a lot of ants. when we checked in we were told where to go for breakfast but then in the morning told it wasn’t included.

Rather disappointing given the adverts.

Booking in. The initial rooms allocated where in tan annex closer to the road. The first room we looked smelled of drains and was unacceptable. The hotel found us two rooms in the main building close together. They were nominally superiot rooms so we had to pay £40 more. These rooms were a lot better. Overall it was a disappointing stay.

The initial double rooms smelled of drains and were in an annex nearer the road. We then had to walk in the open back to the hotel to get to the restaurant.

Disappointed we have used Best Western over many years and will not use this group again

Food good breakfast excellent. Staff super. We went with 5 other couples and they all complained about the very poor standard of the rooms and two couples wrote to the manager with no reply

The rooms were poor with cobwebs, mould in the bathroom leaking front door and very draufty front door.Lose toilet handle,shower gell you could not get out of the holder very diappointed at sutch a high price.

Breakfast next day cold. Kept running out of things ie dishes, bread, no spoons on table.

Not a lot apt from where our room was located - near the gardens

Bar shut in afternoon so couldn’t get a drink - nearly 2pm. Also couldn’t get into room 3pm check in. Told couldn’t get in before - very rudely. Glad to leave thought very expensive for very inferior quality service and breakfast - which was very basic.

Poxy little double bed . Mouldy smelling room . Cold breakfast and poor quality. Over priced bar £11.80 for pint and half of beer.wife badly burnt her hand on the bed side light which was a Halogen bulb and red as it was not LED...LED bulbs in the ceiling..?. Seriously dangerous if children were around.

Short trip to Bury Saint Edmonds

Good hotel for business and a short trip to Bury. Within a short walk from the town centre. Friendly and helpful staff.

It was pleasant and met my needs.

Room was very comfortable and very clean, it had all the facilities I needed. The staff were excellent, attentive and helpful.

I found it difficult to find the hotel, the entrance is quite hidden. I arrived after dark and the car park is poorly lit, so finding a suitable parking space was difficult.
