The whole property is beautiful with rooms on the cliffside overlooking the beach below. The pool is wonderful with plenty of room for everyone. The staff are helpful and bike rental can be organised easily through the hotel.
There are a number of great restaurants down the beach we tend to eat at as it's unclear how the hotel restaurant is run or if it's open (Last time we stayed it was low season and the food was ordered and brought in from outside and served in the hotel) not an issue for us but we figure we may as well go out for dinner and see outside the hotel.
Nothing not to like really. As with most of Thailand, the beds are rock hard which isn't great but seems to be normal there. Wifi isn't great if you're working and need to upload or do anything major however for general use it is good.
I would recommend hiring a bike if you're there for a while as you'll need transport to get out of the hotel and explore further afield.

Good value for money. Beautiful view from the room. Daily cleaning.
Bar/restaurant was staffed with 1 person, so it took a long while to get service. Pool could be a bit more cleaner. Mattresses on the sun beds at the pool are black… these get extremely hot in the sun. There was no ‘don’t disturb’ sign to hang at the room door. Therefor cleaning could come in anymore moment..

The location and view are outstanding
We were at the top of the hill with a sea view
As with all rooms in Koh Phangan they are a little tired

The staff were amazing, very helpful.
Wonderful room, beautiful view.
We hired a moped through the hotel - reasonable price - you need a moped with a strong engine to get up the steep hill leaving the hotel.

Nice view and very quiet. Most of the staff was nice, but did only understand very little English..
We were at Salad Buri for three weeks in June/July. The resort was very closed and there was almost no facilities. The restaurant was totally empty and was stacked with working materials. When we ordered food it came from another restaurant. Roomservice was limited. Housekeeping was very smiling but not very thorough (except from changing the towels). Once we found an open condom along the sofa.. The receptionist hung up on us several times because she was busy, she sad. During our stay we changed rooms because of a bad smell of mold. Unfortunately we are quiet disappointed with our stay..

Room with the pool was good, and had a memorable trip, staff were friendly and helpful. breakfast was good. overall a good stay.
no privacy when we are in private pool, the beach in front of the resort was really bad filled with stones and the feel of resort was lost, as a guest we should not tell your staff to clean the rooms daily and change the Towels, they should do it by themselves. the massage coupon was given during check-in & it said free 30mins and when we went there they charges us 300THB which is not fare. we are indians and food for vegetarians are very less, try including some Veggie Delights ...

The hotel stuff is very kind and helpful! They were supporting us by bookings, then shifting the bookings, providing extra equipment, etc.
The pool was excellent, we liked the food, the beach was good and we liked the rooms too (big rooms, they were cleaned every day, the beds were comfortable).
We have booked a "Two-Bedroom Villa" and a "Deluxe Double" room (we were six). By the Villa we were a bit surprised, that the 2 rooms were not connected (Villa has an own "garden", the rooms are 2 metres from each other). I think this setup makes the Villa ideal for 2 couples but maybe for some families another type of room is more practical. For us this setup was not a problem at all.

Rooms view was amazing! Comfy beds and amazing balcony to relax on in the heat of the day. Epic snorkeling just off the point and staff were amazing at organising an early check out and taxi to peir. Pool area was amazing with water not boiling and plenty of shade both in and out of pool
Like most places after covid, is rundown and not that many guests, guy behind the bar was baked out of his tree 😅 expensive to get there and back again would recommend renting bikes from peir and heading down.

it was very quite and relaxed
I felt the employee don’t really care about their customers. they do not follow up for the requests. the room was too small but enough just for sleeping.
they don’t rely speak English so made lot of mistakes with our requests. someone opened our room door at night just because the receipting made a mistake. no hot water in the bathroom.

The view from our room was the best! The staff were fantastic- they sorted out taxis and a ferry. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows superb. We had a lovely time staying there!
A little remote but we didn’t mind that. The steep steps and slopes up to the top rooms could be troublesome if you were not very mobile.

really happy about my room and all the facilities. I would recommend it.

Great resort at a price point of lower quality stays. Under THB1,000/night it’s great value. Location is great
When I arrived it was a ghost town. Had to call to get someone to come and check me in, which took 15 min’s to arrive, and it seemed like it was the maintenance guy, annoyed because I probably interrupted his drinking session. Same thing the next day, no staff anywhere.
Black mould in the shower, light fittings falling off, I could go on. Just poor management really. Regardless, at under THB1,000/night, it’s hard to beat.

beautiful rooms & decor
unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open of an evening but that’s due to Covid

The beach was small, but easily accessible. The pool is well maintained and has three connecting infinity pools. Two shallow pools and a third deeper pool. Plenty of seating all the way around. The rooms were spacious for the price and were all equipped with refrigerators and AC.
The resort lacked a bit of TLC. Some of the rooms plumbing didn't work very well. Worn areas on buildings and rooms could use some fresh paint. Some curtains were broken or repaired with tape.
