A home away from home

I loved my stay at Comon Bungalow! Sanya, the lovely owner is an absolute sweetheart and made me feel at home from the first day. The room was clean and had a cozy balcony with a hammock. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Koh Phangan!

The bed was a bit hard for me, but I have found that to be the case with all accommodation in Thailand, so absolutely no fault of the property!

Sonia is a bright light who makes you feel welcomed and at home. The rooms are a great size and clean with hammocks on every balcony. The WiFi is strong and reliable for work.

I understand with high season the prices go up, would feel more comfortable paying a bit less but that's just expected here this time of year.

Sonya is a sweetheart…so helpful…the bungalows are really nice and located perfectly to reach Sri Thanu and really amazing beaches around. Yoga studios and zen beach is in reach- make it easy, get a scooter and drive with precaution. I come back since many years…it‘s home. Thx darling for everything ✨

Amazing, Exceptional Service, Location & Value! HIGHLY Recommended :)

SONIA, who owns and runs this place, is an absolute gem. She makes you feel at home, comfortable and VERY well taken care of. She will go above and beyond to help make your stay amazing without any pressure AND with a genuine smile from her massive heart. The location is great and in the middle of haad Yao. Lots of options for beautiful beaches, including Zen beach which is the best for sunset and socializing. There is a wide variety of yoga, tons of yummy plant based food and massage options. The rooms are surrounded by trees and NOT so close to each other. You have a feeling of privacy and are able to relax and enjoy. Wifi is good. I will definitely come back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming, peaceful and fulfilling experience.

Convenient and quiet place

The woman in charge of this place is so joyful that it reslly makes you feel good. The rooms are bungalows, so don't expect it to be a solid western building, but it is part of its charm. It is close to the Zen beach and the Secret Beach by walk. Very.quiet at night.

Very good

Simple but cosy bungalows in a quiet part of Koh Phangan. Sonya the owner is super-friendly, helped with papers for immigration, bike rental and tranport. Sunset beaches are very close, a good restaurant next door. Hammock at the terrace.

Lack of shelves/racks for clothes. Bathroom is designed so it is all wet after taking a shower.

Peaceful bungalow in a great location, walking distance to everything!

I had such a wonderful stay with Sonya and her sister! Sonya's location is perfect for the area, I did not have a motorbike and I was able to walk everywhere. There are wonderful restaurants right next door on both sides that I went to with excellent food and prices! Sonia is a wonderful host and so fun to talk to. Yes, she can be tough with visitors but that is her business and she is running it excellently! This place is peaceful and I loved hanging out in the hammock and relaxing. You really do feel like it’s your home.

As mentioned in other reviews, the noise is a big factor and if you have trouble sleeping at night you either shouldn't stay here or make sure you get one of the bungalows in the back. The Wi-Fi doesn't work very well in the rooms but as soon as you get out on the patio the connection is fine.

My favorite place to stay in Koh Pangan!

It’s my second stay in Common Bungalow and if come back to Koh Pangan I ‘ll definitely stay there again. First it’s amazing location,very close to main beaches in very quite part of the island. Second ,it’s a simple but so cozy, exceptionally clean rooms,hot water is always available in the shower (which helps a lot in the morning and late evening as it gets chilly outside) and last but not the least friendly owner who is always ready to help if anything!
