Good

The outdoor pools in the village of Banya. The room was very large. The breakfast was excellent.

This is not a 5 star hotel by any standard. The hotel needs an upgrade. The furniture was tired and dirty as was the carpeting. The gym was not open until 9:00.

Kind, sweet and really professional staff throughout the whole hotel! The spa was amazing, it had everything we wanted/needed and we were able to fully relax and enjoy ourselves. The restaurant and the bar are top notch. The chef in the restaurant makes the most delicious scrambled eggs and muffins I’ve ever tried. The cocktails at the bar were really good and the bartender is the absolute sweetest person. Specious and really comfortable room. Big bathroom, 55’ TV in the living room, massive bed that was extremely comfortable. We also had great view of the river and the mountains on our balcony. I was really impressed by the great cleaning staff and how quickly they would clean the rooms when we go out. There is a safe in the room, really good room service and amazing view of the mountains. Would absolutely recommend to everyone and I am planning on coming back here!

Great thermal spa with shuttle bus to get there. Another spa at the hotel. Great location in the town (although very quiet in May). Tasty a la carte restaurant. Good breakfast buffet with huge variety. Comfortable spacious room, good bed. Bath and shower. River running right past and views of the mountain.

Lovely hotel!

The staff at the hotel are great, they go out of their way to help, advice , always smiling and polite!! This is our 3 Rd stay, we love it!! Breakfast has a lot of different options, buffet style!! The mineral spa is absolutely amazing! Would visit again for sure!

Exceptional

In no hotel, and we have been in hotels with better ratings on booking and more expensive ones, we didn't experience so much kindness, professionalism, helpfulness and the feeling that we are truly welcome and respected. The entire staff, from reception, waiters, pool and spa staff are truly exceptional. The hotel owner should keep them as the best and most important value of this beautiful hotel. We thank them endlessly and please do not miss the wonderful, exceptional massages that are on offer. Everything else was also excellent, food, comfort, pools and spa, internet, interior. Thank you for everything, once again.

Superb

Our room was sparkling clean. The staff is super polite and friendly and always there to help. Well done to the team! The breakfast is fantastic with a large variety of options and super delicious fruit too! The mineral pools in Banya are great too! Same high level of cleanliness!

The furniture is a bit tired and outdated, however still very well maintained.

Pool was nice, jacuzzi as well. Breakfast was good. The room was nice, and spacious.

Sauna was a bit small for the size of the hotel, the second sauna didn't work. A lot of the staff didn't speak Bulgarian and their English wasn't good as well. The restaurant of the hotel also isn't that great, but a bit expensive. Overall, it was overpriced for the facilities it provided.

SPA staff busy themselves or smoking cigarettes I felt lost there like in one star hotel the lady at SPA reception very rude,tired,surli and the SPA was the main reason I chose Regnum Hotel That's why I canceled my next reservation in this hotel

Highly recommended

Great hotel in a great location with spa facilities. The hotel staff have exceptional standards in engaging with the guests and providing top-class customer service from check-in to checkout. It is 5 mins walk to Gondola and Main Street with all the restaurants. Hotel provides shuttles to/from Gondola and their Thermal waters in Banya (15 mins away). Room cleaning was very well done every day. The room had kitchen facilities, balcony and stunning view of the mountains.

Beautiful clean hotel

We liked the room - actually we stayed in a large apartment, 2 bathrooms, it was warm, clean, the beds were comfortable. The spa area was nice, clean, not to big, the jacuzzi was to crowded for my taste.

The food was not exceptional but we found good things to eat every breakfast and every evening, not so many courses to choose from in the evening, we expected a little bit more for a 5 star hotel. In the spa area the showers were to far from the pool and the jacuzzi and unfortunetly people "forget" to shower before entering the pool and nobody from the hotel reminds them...

Despite of some issue we felt quite fine!

By chance, maybe, was the quietest room ever! Great breakfast and dinner

The room need a lot of improvements. 2 lamps, both without bulbs! Poor furniture, tv set, floor.

the experience of this "5 star hotel" is too expensive for the overall quality of services

the staff was usually friendly and professional, the cleaning of the room was performed daily, there was plenty of parking places for the cars and for the family with small kids, the indoor kids playing room was a plus and Melisa was really loved by the kids for her attitude and behavior. the hotel has organized a nice Christmas dinner with music and provided to every room a nice gift bag

the breakfast and dinner were pretty much the same all 7 days, we had the feeling that part of the food is recycled from the previous time, and we felt far away than eating in a 5 star hotel restaurant. Only few cooked food, mostly basic salads, vegetables, a lot of appetizers. the interior SPA is heavily undersized compared with the hotel accommodation capacity, and in a winter without snow this is a problem.the rooms on the back side of the hotel have a distressing view, as behind the hotel there are several abandoned under construction buildings. the hotel needs rooms refurbishments.

good but doesn’t correspond to a real 5-star hotel

the room was spacious and there was both shower and bath tube in the room. the temperature in the room can be set up as needed. there was transfer to Banya thermes

the room cleaning was of bad quality, the floor was dirty and wasn’t properly cleaned, the location is not the best for a 5-star hotel, the food was like in a 4-star hotel, the Christmas dinner was just a buffet, nothing special for such a high price.

great spa, food much better than expected (especially if you eat early), lived the sprouts for breakfast, clean room, fantastic massages

cigarette smoke in halls, dubious English skills - but better than my Bulgarian

I loved it

Amazing beautiful hotel. Superb breakfast with tremendous options to choose from. Beautiful rooms. Close enough to the centre of the Ski area. Just fun.

Wi-Fi was not good at all :-(
