Big bed that was comfortable enough.
Arrived and were told that there was an event on that would be very noisy until 12-1am. We explained we were child free for the night and expected a good night sleep when paying over £200 a night. We were moved thankfully.
No aircon in the room and the fan above the bed didn’t work.
Hotel is very run down and needs alot of TLC and updating.

The location was great for the NEC. Very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had 2 rooms, 1 including a dog. We were advised of the extra charge for a dog prior to booking. Previous reviews had worried us but we couldn’t fault a thing. Would definitely stay again

Staff were friendly
I thought our room would have been better! There was no bath! The tele didn’t work from the remote so had to keep getting up to change the channe! The walls are paper thin and could hear everything in the other rooms! We were next to a group of people who were up till 2am which is fine but we needed to be up at 5am so we’re really tired! And equally we probably woke then up too!

Service was great, staff were very good indeed, polite and professional
Asked front desk to check my shower as it was too hot - they said they would look into it - checked back in with front desk before I went to bed and he didn’t know if it had been rectified
Morning came and it was too hot to use before my morning conference. - that was a real shame as we all like to be fresh for a conference
Had to Use the shower in the gym the day before

location wasn’t too bad rest was poor
dirty, expensive, cold food, no breakfast left, dated and will never return

Rooms were good, bed comfy and a good size. Restaurant and bar was great too; reasonably priced and lovely food.
The spa area was ok; some loungers and chairs, a jacuzzi, steam room and spa. The swimming pool was cold and when we went (after 4pm on a Saturday) children were in the pool. So not a relaxing spa experience but that wasn’t the focus of our trip luckily!

Breakfast was ok
The room we was in was not value for money. We could not turn off the lights all night on the first night. The phone was not working in the room So we had to go down to Reception for room service And the Heater was condemned in the bathroom loose wires hanging out.

We came here 6 years ago for a wedding and decided to visit for a couple days relax away from the world, so we knew we was getting value for money
We loved access to the pool..... I had 2 beauty treatments they were amazing hats of to chloe who looked after me throughout my time their
Check in and check out was super quick and efficient
Their are 2 bars we could use, we had food in the upstairs bar, hats off to Drew ( I think that's his name) and rest of the bar staff in the terrace bar
Cannot fault the other all experience
On the 1st night the fire alarm went off at 3.15am and we weren't told if it was a false alarm or not, so everyone went back to bed... my partner did walk down to find out and it was a circuit proper in a non used room
More communication would be better

Great location and I could take the dogs

Outstanding staff who were friendly and helpful
Nothing, it is excellent value for money with great facilities.

Comfortable bed and mostly very friendly staff
Breakfast a disaster. Seemed like they didn’t actually expect anyone to be there. Long wait for food and stupid queuing system. Overall although most of the staff were friendly, there didn’t seem to be any grown ups in charge

It was perfect as it allowed our dog to be with us. Good breakfast.
Rooms were very dated in need of a make over.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were great. The hotel was nicely furnished.
The room was so hot. The ceiling fan did not work. The plug in fan did not work well enough to cool the room down. It needed aircon really to deal with heat of the room. It would be stifling in August!
The lift DID NOT work and we were on the third floor and had to carry lots of cases up three flights of stairs and no one warned us!

Only two storey in beautiful grounds, very welcoming building. Felt safe.
Relaxed ambience
My friend’s booking was not honoured (how does a hotel overbook with modern technology?!). Embarrassed staff were very apologetic & obliging.

Could hear other rooms. Sound proofing poor.

nice room, plenty of parking,
other people staying there were so noisy and there were dogs barking very late and early

Poor food, tired rooms, staff looked overwhelmed, reception slow and monosyllabic

property was easy to find, free parking too which was great.
no central heating. we had a plug in radiator that kept on switching off and only went up to a mild warm temperature so it was cold during the night. The hallway outside was kept open both ends which go outside so when we opened our bedroom door, the freezing cold came in. The bathroom was dated, the decor of the rooms were dated.

very nice place, comfortable! I will definitely come back here with my family.
I ordered 3 massages, but unfortunately I didn’t manage to get all . I order for my 1-scrub and 1 massages and for my partner 1massage . For my partner instead of 55 minutes, he was massaged for only 25 minutes…
and for my I only got scrub.. but another massage I booked at 17:30 . But Spa centre works time closed is 17:00 . how its work? - I don’t know

The welcome on arrival was good and when I was disappointed with our room (not what was advertised) Alberto the DM was brilliant at finding an alternative although it was a lesser grade it was better than what we paid for.
Staff were attentive in the restaurant and spa and the quality of the food in the restaurant was very good.
The spa facilities were pleasant but the poolside was grubby. Other areas of the hotel lacked attention to detail too. Stair wells had mud on them and housekeeping left abandoned trolleys. The lift didn’t work either.
We asked for a coffee machine (as stated on website) never arrived. I asked reception to ask the Spa to call me back, they never did.
On check out Monika was very helpful but I was unimpressed that my card had been charged two days before we arrived even though it said pay on arrival. I wanted to use a different card. The bill had to be checked carefully as food items were on there that were part of the package. Monika was very efficient though and removed without fuss.

The comfortable relaxed peaceful surroundings . We thought the staff were helpful and attentive . We ate all our meals at the hotel and found all of food at the restaurant to be of a high standard . We enjoyed the spa facilities and both had treatments .
The first and last evening we had a drink in the bar before our meals it was cold there both nights and the restaurant was cold on the last evening .
