Comfortable Stay

Nice and new hotel.

It was new and modern and clean.

We waited for sometime to speak to a member of the reception team when one evening at 9:45 we arrived back at the hotel and upon arrival to our hotel room the key card wouldn’t work so I left my children and husband upstairs and went to reception to get the key card re coded and there was no staff available I was eating for 5 mins and that is not acceptable as it was late and my family were waiting outside the hotel door in the corridor! The member of staff had been out back making hot drinks. More staff needed at all times.

Very good, peaceful, pleasant, highly recommandable.

The breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from, and one thing I was pleased about, the fact that whole milk was available, other than just semi skimmed, trivial matter but there. The one thing, that I was a little disappointed with that there was only a shower facility, no bath which I personally prefer. But then again that was partly my fault as I had not requested a room with a bath if it was possible, on my booking, another little lesson learnt, for future reference. Overall the staff were very pleasant, helpful, much credit to all, my stay was good and the hotel highly recommendable, Thank You.

Has stated earlier about the bathroom facility, there was only a shower, no bath, but having spoken to the staff about this, I was asked how long we were staying, and I said it was only the one night, and that there wasn`t a problem, the shower was fine and nothing to worry about, as the staff informed me about requesting a room with a bath, and if at all possible they would oblige, as there were only a few rooms available with baths, which was good to know for future bookings.

The beds were comfortable would have been better if there was decaffeinated Tea & Coffee

The location was good the breakfast was good but they kept running out of stuff due to staff shortages but both the young man and the young lady that where on that morning went above and beyond to help us as I was gluten free and my friend was vegetarian.

The shower cubical was dirty at the bottom and the shower head was turned to the side and you couldn't change it as it went straight back to being on the side.

Used to be my go-to hotel in the area…

Stayed here several times before, nice hotel, decent rooms, good location, good staff etc..

I had drove 520 miles, and had another 620 miles to do the next day. The noise in the hotel from other guests this time was ridiculous. A girl was dragged out the room just along the hall from me at 1am by the police!! If I was lucky I had 4hrs sleep!! Mentioned it at check out and the guy just shrugged his shoulders. Couldn’t be less bothered.

Good but issues with the lock on my door all the time. Could not enter without staff help.

Comfortable stay in hotel with friendly helpful staff.

Quiet room despite being next to main road. Good choice at breakfast ( hope there was not too much food wastage) Getting to the hotel was tricky with various lanes at roundabouts and( I thought) poor signage. It was close/ next to a chain eatery with reasonable choice of food+ drinks as hotel restaurant only served breakfast.

Shower was slippy - could have had textured shower tray or mat. ( didnt realise til I was in the shower!)

Good budget hotel in Nuneaton.

We visited during the Covid pandemic, as we were attending a funeral, and things were far from normal. Very helpful reception staff, and pleasant breakfast staff. A warm breakfast was provided to eat in your own bedroom. The hotel restaurant was closed, but reception staff ordered in a Chinese meal for us. Drinks were available for you to take to your room to drink with the food that was delivered. Choice of drinks was limited due to the pandemic. The room was clean on arrival. We were grateful that the hotel was open. Good value accommodation.

We visited during the Covid pandemic, and things were far from normal, and the room was not serviced. The plug in the bathtub was not operating properly, which was reported to breakfast staff, as nobody was at reception, but it was not rectified. The booking through Booking.com had not come through, and we were not expected on arrival. The payment for the room was taken twice, and we trust that the duplicate charge will be refunded promptly.

Location is fantastic, walking distance to places to eat / grab a coffee. Very helpful staff and a good breakfast. Will be booking again for 2024 with confidence. Looks strange from the outside but it's a great one!
