Very convenient to the airport , staff were very helpful , and came and collected us at 4am when our plane was delayed by 2 hours ! Room was lovely and clean.
lol not enough milk for coffee in our room
2.7
Bed was comfortable
Tv didn't work properly
Stains on walls
Dirty glasses in room
Children's bed linen on bed
2.7
Manager/owner was helpful on checking in.
Decor was outdated and not very clean. TV couldn't get a signal. There were some insects in the room (spiders, small bathroom flies). No hangers in the wardrobe.
2.7
Not at all as depicted in the photos. Depressingly gloomy and scruffy room. Single mattress was so lumpy I slept on top of the duvet in my clothes, especially as the sheets were not ironed and looked very grey. I didn’t even bother with the shower as the towels were so in desperate need of Oxyaction! All in all an appalling stay and the photos were completely misleading.

Location, cost compared to other locations
Very helpful staff.
Reasonable size room.
No food available.

I was sure that I was already in the dirtiest and worst hotel in the UK . But I came to this hotel and I've learned that I haven't been in a hotel like this. In the doorway I passed a fleeing family of cockroaches They were screaming " run for your life hire it's too disgusting, they are crazy don't stay here pall"
When I arrived at the hotel, the staff could give me a key to the room and when they couldn't open the room with the service key I was told that the previous guest did not return the keys That is admitted that they do not clean the hotel after guests. The difrent room I finally got was actually the end of a corridor with a door installed, thus making room no 18.A total mess in the room and an alcoholic party behind the wall until 2 am The staff did nothing about it Prisons in North Korea have a better standard and are cleaner.I will not stay in this hotel even if he pays me.

Location to the airport
A little run down. Just needs tidying up.
2.7
The staff were relatively friendly
Room absolutely filthy with a dead bug on the floor, hotel carpets looked like they hadn't been hoovered in months. Only 2 of the 6 outlets in the room worked so we couldn't charge all of our devices. Booked 2 nights and only stayed for one due to the cleanliness and no refund.

Near the nec
Depressing, scruffy. Lot of road noise and paper thin walls. Bathroom door didn’t fit/shut. Plug sockets came out of the wall when pulling plug out. No towel, no coffee, found pregnancy test on the floor and a bottle top. No pillow liners.
2.7
Privacy on ground level.......Beds clean
No Breakfast facilities...
2.7
The staff were helpful.
The building needs some maintenance. Noisy position next to dual carriage way. Could have used another pillow, and the mattress could use an upgrade.
2.7
It was fairly close to the airport
it cost £15 for a taxi each way to/from the airport
2.7
The property was very run down , cleanliness was poor , the decor was tired and we didn't feel the rooms were very secure.
The plug sockets were hanging of the walls , the bedding was dirty as well as the beds being broken. If we could have moved to another hotel we would.

Location is excellent, room is good
Entrance was difficult to

location to airport
Hotel is undergoing a cheap refurbishment and is unclean, in a state of dis-repair and has poor cleanliness, no facilities like food or drink, and it is not a place that I felt safe as a lone female traveller.
Access to the property isn't easy from the main highway either which caused problems locating it initially and it genuinely does not feel ready to be available for paying customers yet. There is a stink of paint throughout the property as well, cigarette buts all over the outside car park and entrance and 1st floor roofing outside bedrooms, and there are decorating and building materials throughout the hotel including empty paint pots on roofing.
The TV signal kept cutting out, the door lock on my room was temperamental and room was generally a mix-match of old and broken furniture. The room key doesn't even appear to be from the same hotel chain.
To not have any ability to have food or drink was not made clear at the time of booking either.
I appreciate that with budget hotel rooms next to airports that expectations need to be managed, but I would just urge more research before making this booking.

Nothing at all.
Arrived and receptionist had no record of my booking (hand written on paper) so had to call someone else. I'm then walked out of the hotel to an old restaurant that must have had some rooms built in. Put in a dingy wooden room with 2 single beds when a double was booked and paid for.
TV didn't work, beds very uncomfortable with poor duvets. Shower water pressure weak as anything.
Honestly one of the worst "hotels" I have ever stayed in.
2.7
Close to the airport
The mattress was so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep - the house from the motorway in the front rooms is a lot too.
2.7
location
the reception is a mess, road noise, no bed side lamp, felt unsafe, it’s a dump

I think I left a white and black wash bag. Tried to call and left message on answer phone. No one had contacted me. Can someone please call me 0739934550
Bed was quite uncomfortable
2.7
The bed was comfy and the staff were lovely. The room had everything I needed.
There was a dirty sock under the bed and they hadn't cleared the previous guest's rubbish. The people next door to me were also so loud that they woke me up at 7 am and I couldn't get back to sleep. Also, the traffic was very noisy all night as it's next to a main road.
2.7
What “ breakfast “ the staff informed me none will be served.
Bath room taps were falling apart and breakfast would be nice .
2.7
Absolutely nothing
Everything apauling not as represented in advert!
2.7
Late Check-in Times and 24 hour access.
Dimly Lit Bathroom, a bedroom only had one light hidden around a corner, so part of the room was dim. Loud doors are constantly being slammed as not soft Autoclose. On my final night, a staff member was watching videos on a loud volume in the reception that could be heard at 5/6 am.
2.7
Close to NEC
Room was dirty, stained towels, viagra in the draw. Seemed like a real seedy dirty place. Not soundproof considering how close to runway.
2.7
great location for the airport, good value for basics.
could be cleaner
2.7
Good location for aircraft spotters at Birmingham Airport
Shower was powerful
Good parking facility
Bed was okay comfort wise & clean sheets and duvet
Reasonable for budget stay given its location
Should be clearly currently rated as a budget 2/3 star.
OYO website says at time of this review of their own hotel ......twice mentions it is actually in bristol not birmingham ! https://www.oyorooms.com/gb/199165/
TV signal reception was very poor
Cannot 'legally access' the hotel direct off the main A45 ...as car park entrance is down back narrow damson lane [difficult to find on dark wet rainy night]
2.7
easy access for parking and polite staff. Tea and coffee making facilities, fresh towels and shower gel
not a complaint but being a non smoker the room smelt of stale smoke
2.7
Nice and clean room. Large enough for one person. Check in and out quick and easy. Nice and quiet area.
Safe and secure.
2.7
Everything it stuck off smoke and damp the room. The bedroom had spider webs in the bath was black not white the bed sheets was ment be white but there was dirty holes in the bedding alot of dirty around the window. Me and my daughter couldn't breathe so we had to move to another hotel
Everything I said to them that I want my money back and they said to ask booking.com and another I told them that we both had health issues but they did care. So please can I have money back because I had to go to another hotel
2.7
it was close to where we wanted to be
I advised in advance I had accessibility needs and the hotel acknowledged that, when we got there there were actually no accessible rooms, no doubles on the ground floor either, and definitely no disabled bathroom facilities they really should have rejected this booking knowing there was a need
2.7
No heating. Although a portable heater was provided, it barely did the job. The bed was so uncomfortable. The walls could do with a lick of paint and a general clean. No bar facilities. Could do with a vending machine.
