The hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

The shower in our room was not working and the staff responded very quickly, we got a new room - bigger than the one we paid for.
Nice, original architecture
This is very much on the plus side. The riad has beautiful architectural elements, but as a whole (compared to others we have been to in Marko) it was a bit 'cold' - less cosy. The staff were a bit overly trying to 'sell' extra tours and attractions, but overall it was a very nice stay. The riad is located in a very local part of the medina, there is a lot going on and it is easy to get lost - such is the charm of this city.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms and bathrooms. Well working warm water. Great rooftop view.
Smoking is allowed in the common areas whereas the roof of the riad is closed and the rooms’ windows face the patio … so it’s easy to imagine, smoke goes directly into the rooms.
Although they claim to speak English and French, unlikely in other places in Morocco, we felt not understood and found it hard to communicate.
The personal tries to be nice and friendly, but behaves like youth hostel staff rather than hotel personal. When every next request is not taken seriously because they are so laid back - that destroys the experience.
At midnight (!) a loud group was entertaining themselves in the patio making a lot of noise. When I went to ask them to speak quieter, I was shocked to find out that actually a hotel staff member was there with them. As much as I can understand that hotel guests don’t keep in mind all the time that they could bother someone else (and are not familiar with the riad’s acoustic ;) ), it’s hotel staff obligation to ensure the basic comfort of all guests.
We decided to leave Riad Jamai after 2 nights (despite we booked 4) as the experience was all opposite to relaxing.
We were travelling in Morroco for the entire Ramadan month and never encountered such unprofessional staff behaviour in any other Riad.
All in all, go there if you are looking for a hostel, not for a hotel and not if you travel with a toddler.

An amazing stay, great staff, great value for money and great options for stuff to do. Could've stayed there a lot longer.
A lack of gluten free options at breakfast for my partner who is a celiac.

dont judge from the outside. beautiful design, beautiful pool, beautiful people.
Our kids in love with this riad. Yassin and partner was so kids with kids, the play, talk and respect kids.
they were soft spoken, easy to talk with and speak your language very well with a nice accent.
the room? spacious, located at level 3, there no elevator but they willing to help you with lugagge.
the view from room straight to the main hall was nice, calm and cosy inside the riad. We sleep like a log. We shower like a mermaid in their big bath tub that can fit all of us.

The staff were amazing. Very polite and accomadating. Yassine was very informative and helpful in all cases. The riad was a lovely comfortable retreat from the chaos of the Medina. The roof terrace is a great area with superb views. Our room was perfect, clean and spacious.
Pool was cold but was out of season. Not a big problem

the staff is friendly
and helpful .
the ventilation in the bathroom is bad . besides , the table and chair arrangement at the courtyard is weird and didn’t give an easy way for us to walk into room because there was this big table with chairs sit right in front of our big tall bedroom door !! where is the aesthetic part of Moroccan ?!

Incredible place with amazing interior, we spent a night in one of the suites (spacious, clean, nicely designed). Thanks to the Staff - Yassine and Assia, we felt really taken care of. Very good choice!!!

the internal courtyard, our bedroom and the rooftop.
Breakfast lacked imagination. Loud noise from a party in the riad next door.

This is no doubt the best riad we have ever been to.
Since the moment we walked in, we were mesmerized. This riad is absolutely beautiful.
We parked our car nearby and walked about 5 minutes to the Riad's street. It can be a little hard to find, given the fact that it is kind of hidden.
We were welcomed by Yassine, the most amazing host. He made us feel completely comfortable and was always ready to help us out.
The bedroom was really pretty, spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had airconditioner in case we needed it.
There is also a pool on the inside, the ceiling isn't open so even if it's raining it's possible to go swimming.
We also talked with the manager Mohamed, a very kind person and very helpfull and we were so glad to have met all of them, it really is an incredible staff.
No wonder this place has such good reviews.

Great location in the middle of the medina. Friendly personel. The swimming pool is a bit small but very nice.
The Wifi was not that good in my room (Menthe) but everywhere else in the Riad the WiFi is pretty good.

It was like a dream come through. The riad is very beautiful and we still can't believe that we stayed here for a couple of nights. The owners of the riad & Assia, the girl who worked there, were extremely nice and helped us for many things. If it's possible we'll come back again!!

It was our second time visiting the riad so we knew what we’re going to encounter. The Riad is great and the staff is really nice
The only thing I didn’t like this time around was that I asked for breakfast to be served earlier at 8 o’clock and breakfast is usually served at 8:30 because our train was departing at 9:40. I was told that it couldn’t be served earlier and I said ok. The breakfast was served at 8:40. On the same occasion I asked if a taxi can be arranged to the train station and told them I need the taxi to be there at 9 o’clock. I was told that will be all handled and arranged in the morning. When breakfast was served I reminded them about the taxi. And they have completely forgotten about it. I was told that a taxi will come at 9 o’clock only to come to a conclusion that the taxi wasn’t called at 9:15 which was way too late. We had to walk to the square with our suitcases and we almost missed the train. Poor customer experience if you ask me. If they told us that it cannot be handled all the rush and anxiousness would’ve been avoided this morning.

We have to appreciate the approach of our host. He was really pleasant and helped us with everything. Even he followed us to buy a dinner and arranged a meeting with tourist guide who showed us the medina. We have to recommend to go to Medina with a guide because you definitely get lost anyway :-)
