Good value for money in Hotel Vasilis and excellent friendly service

we were received late in the evening by a very nice lady who took us to our room and explained everything. She is very sweet. In the morning we left our large room to discover the city and she was there again with a big smile. Very good value for money this nice hotel

Super hotel.

Lovely quiet location with views of the fortress and sea. A few minutes walk to restaurants and bars. We visited to view the many archeological sites that are in the area and the hotel was an ideal base to do this. Very clean.

Great room, wonderful views, friendly and helpful hostess. I'd stay there again.

Awesome view from the terrace, large room, wonderful friendly and helpful hostess.

The parking was a little tight, but at least there is on-site parking. Hotels in town claim there is easy on-street parking - don't believe them. The approach hill is very steep, but is worth it for the views, and my 70 year-old legs got me to town, the beach, and back with no trouble.

Top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, Die Besitzerin hat sich nett um uns gekümmert. Schöner Blick auf die Stadt und Bucht. Das Apartment war groß, sauber, es war alles vorhanden, jedoch recht dunkel.

Die Lage: extrem am Berg mit steiler Auffahrt vor einer Felswand. Wir waren jedesmal froh, wenn wir oben und einen der engen Parkplätze ergattert hatten.

El espacio y el entorno.

No nos dimos cuenta en el momento de la reserva que estaba alejado del centro y el volver al hotel era todo subida. Nos hemos dejado una cerveza en la nevera y el responsable ha revisado la habitación y no ha sido capaz de decirnos que nos la habíamos dejado. ( le he visto bajar con la cerveza en la mano y me ha dado vergüenza reclamársela).

Sort escape trip to Nafplio

Vasilis Hotel offers spacious and clean rooms away from the city center. The rooms are fully equipped for a family to stay for weeks and have a comfort balcony. The staff is friendly and ready to satisfy the needs of the customers. The view is good and you can see the back side of Palamidi Castle and even the sea since the rooms are located in a little higher altitude. The rooms are a little far from city center but within 15 minutes walking distance from the central bus station.

The biggest problem was the complete lack of sound proofing. You could hear everything from every other room and that was a little tiring at times. The beds were a little firm in places and the pillows were too fat and firm. Finding a parking space around the hotel can be a challenge when the hotel is fully booked (and so does the hotels around it in high season).

It was ok. Should have booked a more expensive property.

Room was clean and large. Location was a bot away from the town but ok.

Was more like an air bnb than a hotel. No breakfast etc.

Σε γενικές γραμμές μείναμε πολύ ικανοποιημένοι.

Μεγάλο δωμάτιο με ωραία θέα (Παλαμήδι)και είχε και φούρνακι διπλό κρεβάτι ένα μόνο και καναπές κρεβάτι.Καθαρο επίσης με ψυγείο και ήταν ευγενικοί.

Μέναμε στο δεύτερο όροφο και οι σκάλες ήταν εξωτερικές αλλά τα κάγκελα είχαν μεγάλο κενό .Αυτο το είπαμε στη ρεσεψιόν και είπαν ότι θα διωρθωθει όπως επίσης στον τιμή των 70€ τη βραδια(Χριστούγεννα) θα ήθελα και κάποιο πρωινό.Εξου και το 8 σαν βαθμολογία.

Wonderful views and friendly host offering good value close to town.

The view was quite spectacular, but my wife didn't like the very steep and narrow road up the hill to get there and it was difficult to walk down on foot. Although the rooms are quite old, they were clean and the host was very nice

Bed mattresses were a bit lumpy for our liking and decor rather old.

Clean and comfy with great views.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Big spacious room with amazing views of the gulf and fortress. Clean and comfortable. We spent 1 night there on a road trip.

Walls were quite thin and we could hear our neighbors both upstairs and next door. Not for the light sleeper. Parking and the steep driveway were difficult, especially in the rain. Part of the unique hillside location though.

The location was good, 20-30 minutes to the magnificent old center. Room size and balcony size were bigger than usual.

The road to hotel is a steep street, might be inconvenient for inexperienced drivers Water heater should be turned on 20 minutes before shower and turned off prior to shower - its a bit ridiculous in year 2023

great place! we will come back!

the hostess is so nice and kind and always around, to fulfill any wishes the guests may have. The rooms is very big and comfortable, clean and we had a grand view of the fortress and the sea. We had a great time and I wish, we could have stayed longer..

the beds is a little bit old and used up. The kitchen essemble was good, only some glasses for lemonade and wine was missing and some big coffee cups

Great stay

Excellent base to visit Nafplio and ancient cities of Mycenae, Corinth and Epidaurus. Spacious and confortable room with kitchen.

Just be aware that the street leading to the hotel is steep.
