Big TV with Netflix. The location is very close to the bus stop to Aveiro. Bike rental available. Short distance to the beach.
We need to walk to the main hotel behind our apartment to get the keys. Was stranded in front of the apartment and also going to the back but couldn’t find the reception. Finally a kind woman showed us the main hotel with a different name from the one we booked.

The breakfast was superb and the staff were helpful. The room was in front of the river, as promised. however then you must go to the other street at a different location to have breakfast.
No lift to go to your room.
There was a concert going on at night and so I couldn't sleep much at all with the noise. Also the AC was making noises as well.

The room was big in size and it had a working fridge, which is great for snacks, specially with kids. The bathroom had a window, so there was natural lighy in there and it could be aired. There was also good AC and a balcony with some chairs and a table. It was a nice room for 4 people, since it could also be split in 2 areas. Lots of free parking in front of the location.
The toilet sometimes smelt bad from the piping system and you couldn't block the drain from the sink if you needed it for some reason. The shower was loose and couldn't keep still on the wall when the water was on, but luckily we wad a screwdriver and managed to screw it tighter and sort it out ourselves. The reception is in another building and they don't inform you of that. We had to walk around and call the property in order to find how to enter the premisses for the first time. The breakfast is not that good at all. For the price you can easily have a better breakfast at a bakery/café nearby. When we went for breakfast, the room was pretty dark and silent and the tables weren't fully set with all the cutlery, plates and cups so we had to look around to find them and there were no spoons available (the table was supposed to be set). There was only another family in the room, no one else. The place didn't feel cozy at all. The juices were basically very diluted squash and the coffee was disgracefully served in a thermos. Also, the bakery selection was not great and there wasn't much eating options overall. One of the ladies there, which I think was spanish, was very friendly, though. Another thing is I spoke with 3 different people at the reception, on different days, and only one of them could inform me of the different breakfast prices for adults and children and it's not very defined. You can't really tell how much they will charge for a child having breakfast. They said it depends if they eat a lot or not, which for me it doesn't make sense. My 2 year old eats more than my 7 year old for example. They could implement a smaller fee for children aged 5-12 for example, instead of charging full price like they did at the end. The younger child was free of charge.

A lovely place to stay on Costa Nova, close to the beaches, sand dunes, the sunset! It has a breakfast in the nearby Costa Nova Hotel that is solid. Room is big and with a view on the laguna (not the ocean or the sunset, thats on the west side).
Thick curtains block the sunrise, don't worry 🙂
Free parking everywhere!
Check in is also in the Costa Nova Hotel, that info could be more clear after booking.

everything not mentioned below was just perfect.
WiFi need to be ok in bedroom and not somewhere in the mid of the flat ( for many reasons). if you hear your neighbor next dore snore, I think, sound insulation a bit to weak!

Lovely view from the balcony
We had to go to another hotel to check in which we didn’t find straightaway. Window had poor seal and the noise from the road made sleep difficult.

Hotel was near by river and by ocean as well. Room was clean, view was nice.
Breakfasts were not good. Scrabled eggs were abnormally dry and lacked any taste and the coffee was more like black water than anything else. I would recommend to go for a coffee somewhere else.
The worst experience was in the morning when leaving. I paid for hotel vis booking.com in advance, but receptionist convinced me that we did not paid, therefore she charged another 160 Euros. When leaving the reception I found the evidence, that we really paid in advance, went back to reception and ask for refund. This was the moment, when she was willing to check the payment in their system and really refund the money back and told me that I will get it back in few days. Since then I am still waiting for getting my money back. Due to lack of professionalism I would nor recommend the hotel, nor use this accomodation again.

Room located in the center of town, by the river - beautiful view from the balcony, close to colorful houses. Room was clean. Kind staff at the hotel where we checked in.
