Opholdet på hotellet var en rigtig god oplevelse

Det ligger tæt på den gamle bykerne, hvilket var meget praktisk. Hotellet har en god parkeringsplads. Det er også tæt på banegården og man kan nyde udsigten fra en karnap/hotel.

Værelset skulle være til to personer, men var meget lille.

Einmal und nie wieder!!!

Die nette Dame im Frühstücksraum war Klasse. Grundsätzlich wäre das Potential dieses Stadthotels durchaus vorhanden, allerdings …… (siehe Bemerkungen unter „negativ“)

1. Frühstücksangebot absolut durchschnittlich, wobei es teilweise an der Frische gehapert hat (Fruchtsalat mit bereits angelaufenen Früchten). Und dafür pro Person 17 € zu verlangen, ist schon sehr dreist! 2. Mit der Sauberkeit steht man im Hotel Stralsund scheinbar auf Kriegsfuss: Ablagen wurden auch auf Verlangen nicht entstaubt, teilweise fleckige und schmutzige Hand-/Duschtücher (auf Verlangen getauscht), Brotkrumen und andere Reste zwischen den Matrazen wurden nicht gereinigt (obwohl explizit darauf hingewiesen), Kalkreste auf Duschpodest scheinen wochenalt zu sein ….. 3. Das Personal ist zwar freundlich, wirkt jedoch sehr desinteressiert, „man macht halt einfach einen Job“ und das ist in der Hotellerie heute einfach nicht mehr tragbar!!! 4. Die heutige Führung dieses Hotels ist mehr als fragwürdig (wahrscheinlich keine Ahnung von diesem Geschäft), denn es gäbe noch mehr anzufügen, wofür mir aber mein Zeit definitiv zu schade ist! 5. Schade um das schöne und klassische Gebäude (daraus liesse sich echt etwas machen!).

Freundliches hilfsbereites Team. Gutes Frühstück- tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis Für 1-2 Nächte tolles Hotel. Sehr ruhiges Zimmer!

Etwas staubig und in der Lade waren noch Gegenstände vom letzten Gast.

Prima hotel!

Mooi hotel, buitenkant is een plaatje, kamers zijn ruim en netjes. Het bed is goed, maar het kussen is een afgeleefd lapje stof. Zeer oncomfortabel. Douche heeft een soort klap-draaideur waar wij geen handigheid in kregen, waardoor de hele badkamer nat werd. Met 10 minuutjes wandelen ben je in de stad waar je heerlijk doorheen kan meanderen.

für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Stralsund passabel

Die Lage des Hotels in Bahnhofsnähe ist für eine Zwischenübernachtung für Bahnreisende sehr gut. Die Altstadt ist trotzdem bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.

Das Einzelzimmer entsprach den Erwartungen. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt in Stralsund würde ich jedoch eine bequemere Unterkunft empfehlen.

Convenient location close to the train station, big room and a big comfy bed

Nie wieder!

Das Frühstück und das freundliche Personal in der Küche.

Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit Etagenbett gebucht. Das Hotel hat ohne Rücksprache aufgrund eines Wasserschadens das Zimmer geändert. Die vorhanden Schlafgelegenheiten haben für zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder nicht ausgereicht. Ein finanzielles Entgegenkommen gab es seitens des Hotels nicht. Im Zimmer war zudem ein Wasserschaden und der Putz kam von der Wand.

Zentral gelegen

Dicht an der Altstadt gelegen sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Parkplätze sind in der Umgebung vorhanden.

Perfekter Ort für Städtetrip, Urlaub oder Geschäftsreise

Habe aufgrund des günstigen Zimmerpreises nicht viel erwartet und war absolut positiv überrascht. Die Lage direkt gegenüber vom Hauptbahnhof ist optimal, trotzdem ist es nicht zu laut. Das Zimmer war einfach, aber sehr gemütlich ausgestattet und sehr sauber! Mir hat besonders gut gefallen, dass es einen ausreichend großen (Schreib-)Tisch mit Wasserkocher und Tee/Kaffee gab. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Die Innenstadt ist lediglich fünf Gehminuten entfernt und bereits auf dem Weg kommt man an den idyllischen Knieper Teichen vorbei.

Good value for money by the train station

Across the street from the train station, this hotel was very convenient for us and offered good value for money! Comfortable beds in a big, high ceiled, pleasant and clean room. Breakfast was basic but good. Be aware that the downtown area is some distance away. We had bikes but otherwise you're in for a longer walk or a bus ride.

Difficult to sit upright in the beds due to an inconvenient shelf just where you want to keep your head/neck.

Room can be quite warm. We stayed in June. Unable to open room's windows. There again can be noisy if the windows are open as the hotel is very close to train station. Room is very basic and small for the price.

Good enough

- The staff was a nice person. - right next to the central station. - value for the price was good enough. - high ceilings. - for a seemingly very old building, it's a good place.

- The whole reception and lobby areas are physically closed at 7 pm. - Nobody was there for the checkout and we wanted to ask if we could leave our luggage. - The cleanliness could be improved. - The pillows were pretty bad, flat and neck-hurting. - The room electricity wasn't working well (one broken bed lamp, and one semi-broken bathroom lamp). - There's no fridge, and they provided us two small carbonated water bottles that weren't very drinkable without a fridge. - There was a vending machine that had no water (but had alcohol :) )

Stralsund Comfortable Stay

The hotel is well-kept for the age it has. With that being said, its style also attracts older clientele. It was nice just to see older couples. I am sure families could stay here but as it was a romantic holiday for my husband and me, I really enjoyed the classy, elegant vibes. The room was quite nice and orderly. The bathroom was small but you could tell they put a lot of thought into making each corner of the bathroom work for the guest's needs. There was soap for hands, body, and hair available. I also enjoyed the location of the hotel. It is literally across from the central train station. Checking in and out was a breeze. The staff was super duper nice!

Breakfast was 15 euro per person. That is quite high in our opinion and were expecting to have a great variety for that price. Unfortunately, breakfast was a disappointment. The only warm food available were eggs and bacon, everything else was cold. There was the classic bread with your choice of deli meats and cheeses but nothing spectacular. For what they offer during breakfast, I would pay at most 8 euro per person. Our room was on the second story facing the side street near the main road and it was quite loud Friday night. Saturday night was naturally more quiet but still could definitely hear any car passing by or noises from the outside. The bathroom, while quite charming did pose one issue. The shower was awkward with a shower head that half worked and when stepping on the ground of the shower it felt uneven. My husband also experienced the bottom of the shower overflooding.

Charming old hotel close to the city centre

Despite being right across from the central station and next to a busy road, the room was very quiet. 10min walk into town or to footpaths along the ponds. So beautiful. The staff was very friendly, the key security system worked great, and it was all very relaxed and easy.

While the shower had a lovely water pressure, there was a huge gap on the the bottom of the shower door which we could not close. So, we flooded the bathroom each time which was not so nice.

The location - It is just opposite to the Hbf.

Check-in time is not flexible. We arrived early and we had to wait till afternoon. No one was there at the reception desk when we got there (9 am).

I liked the couple of staff that I met - helpful and friendly. My stay was on a Monday. night. I seemed to be the only one there but appears that is normal on a weeknight, out of season (Oct 17).

I DI NOT like the fact that I could not get checked in before 15:00h - had to hang around from 10:00am waiting to gain admittance
