Great location, amenities, staff, food.

The breakfast was good with a lovely view
Need a lift if only for luggage

Bed was very comfy and spacious.
Loved the open fireplaces in the lounge and the availability of games to play after dinner.
Cocktails from the bar were particularly good.
Bar staff actually able to make a proper liqueur coffee!
Bottles of water available in room.
Didnt like the cameras everywhere in the hotel. Seemed unnecessary in a 4 star hotel.
Carpets in room were looking a little tired.
Room was advertised with a fireplace but no fire. Is a fireplace a room feature with no fire?
I felt the room was quite pricey for what it offered in relation to other hotels in the area.
Breakfast advertised at $45/P was very expensive! We decided to brunch elsewhere.

Exceptional efficient customer service instilled a calm atmosphere. Food was really first class. I loved the decor, fire, furniture and views.
Stairs were very steep, but we managed. Car park is very bumpy.

it was a heritage hotel but the view wasn't as remarkable as you can't get anywhere else in the Katoomba. Perhaps when we were there the dews were thick.
However, its surroundings is serene & have the heritage vibes
The breakfast is not a buffet spread instead it's an ala carta order menu for you to choose from.

Loved this hotel. It feels warm and cozy and I love the 'vintage' vibe. The location is perfect, you can easily walk from Katoomba station. The staff were lovely! I did not consume anything in the restaurant as I am vegan and there are no options (it could be great if they could add something), but I could see the views there were magnificient.
I will definitely come back next time I go hiking to BM!

Bed was very comfortable. Spa was nice in bathroom . Fireplace is nice but we were given no instructions on how to turn it down and had to have windows wide open.
Very old. Lots of very steep stairs . No staff around to help . No phone in room to call reception . Had to carry our massive bags down 2 steep staircases as couldn’t contact anyone to help . Had to chase up housekeeping just to change towels everyday . Fireplace in room nice but no instructions on how to use it and it was uncomfortable hot so we had to have windows wide open . There was a lot of noises in roof all night (not sure if animals or not). Food very overpriced and very little options. There are many delicious options nearby though.

We spent a little extra for a room with a view and wow it did not disappoint! Great location - easy walk into the center of town and to the train station. Staff I interacted with were all wonderfully helpful. Tea, Coffee, Bottled Water, Bickies - all replenished in the room daily.
The room and bathroom needed a bit of a vacuum.

The Hotel’s location is central to Katoomba restaurants, most being within an easy walking distance. The comfy sitting rooms, fire places and wonderful views make for a delightful stay. Great little bar and well priced cocktails.
Struggled with the heating in our room which took a lot of effort to set and stay on.

Mostly wonderful for us, beautiful rooms and close to Leura mall. Lovely views from the dining and common areas. Restaurant staff were amazing!!!
Breakfast was very expensive for the quality, very disappointing that our large cappuccino was in fact a small teacup size. The Restaurant had some lovely meals and would probably choose to eat there even if I wasn't staying. The only down side was the sole which was not delicious for me. The salsa on top of the fish was very nice though.

- Best location with magnificent view from lounges and bar area anytime, and from dining room each morning at breakfast, plus easy walk to main street of Katoomba for restaurants & shops.
- Hotel has a new manager since our last stay: David and the staff were friendly, helpful, and keen to ensure we enjoyed our 3-night stay - upgrading us as return guests to the HUGE Tower Heritage Suite, so our standard room booking was extremely good value!
- This traditional guest house has old-style charm, K-bed was v. comfortable (new mattress), shower/spa bath was great with gorgeous-scented toiletries (see pic), gas fireplace + A/C kept us cosy, and WiFi, Foxtel & Coffee pod gizmo all worked.
- The Jamison Views restaurant is a treat, so we indulged fully every morning (see pics including breakfast waffles with grilled banana, salted caramel & whipped sour cream, and excellent coffee) & booked for dinner on our last night (Thurs), 2 courses with recommended wine for each: all truly delightful.
Not a dislike - our booking included a scrumptious full breakfast, but we were unaware from this site that there was an "à la carte" menu on offer for possibly smaller breakfast now, which we may opt for next time ...

Great location, authentic decor, lovely staff. The best thing is they have 4 fast chargers in the car park. Well done
I paid premium for the open fire in the room, which was a slightly disappointing gas/coal display fire. But the room was spacious and bed very large and comfy

Excellent place to stay - an easy walk from Katoomba station. Lovely large room with a comfy bed and a bath and a shower. The hottest water we’ve had in Australia. A comfortable lounge with music played on the piano on Sat night. Friendly staff and stunning views outside. Tea/coffee and a fridge in the room. .

Amazing view. Good central location to town. Big comfy bed, nice to have a sofa to relax on. Delicious big breakfasts, nice choice. Excellent communal rooms to relax, look at the view, read books, play Scrabble, Cluedo, etc with fireplaces ready for colder weather.
Dead bugs not cleaned from the floor, they seemed to fall from the Aircon machine.
Enormous breakfast but you can pick from the list to choose from what's on offer

The meal and bar staff were great.
The view from our room was of a metal roof covered in Airconditioning compressor units that we had to listen to all night. The manager, Eric was extremely rude and unprofessional. with a lack of empathy and understanding.

Loved the traditional look and feel of the hotel. Exceptional, breathtaking views from the room, bar, lounge and dining room! Beautiful furnishings, staircase, and so many places to sit and relax, have a drink, read a book or play a game. The breakfast was delicious and the pool was lovely too. The staff were very friendly and a big thank you to Nigel for his excellent service. We loved our stay and will definitely return!

Location was great, although the picture in the restaurant was very cleverly taken. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable with an excellent shower and spa bath. Room service daily, which was nice to have clean towels each day after long walks exploring. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed a game of Pool and Table Tennis which you would not usually get in Hotels.
The view! Our room was situated in the middle of the hotel so overlooked roof tiles. We did not try the Pool as cold even though we had beautiful weather.

Heritage offers that ‘old mountains’ charm and the new staff leadership and direction is exceptional. It matters when someone is engaging and friendly and without exception this described the team.
We were celebrating my hubby’s birthday and all the boxes were checked. As LGBTQI travellers it is important that we find locations where we feel welcome and this was right up there with the best.
The charm of the Heritage is it being historical. However, some minor refreshing of the rooms would enhance the experience.
