Excellent location for Three Sisters and Echo point. Lovely retro feel.

Big room, with a second bedroom (used it for our cases). Big corner whirlpool bath, which was a novelty. Whole place was just retro. Useful fridge and microwave.

Room cleaning was a bit patchy. One day they missed making the bed, another day they missed the bins. As no one was on site, it was not possible to get this sorted until the next day. Bedside lights wiring was suspect, as the light flickered if the flex was moved. Despite the fact that there was a fridge and microwave, we were discouraged from eating in our room. No plates or cutlery.

It was clean and comfortable and quiet and a little quirky. We enjoyed our stay.

It is clean and beds very comfortable. An older motel but has a lot more character than most. Easy to just arrive at any time as keys were in the room with no check in and just drop keys in drop box. It was quiet.

There were no hand towels and no plates or cutlery. It would have been preferable if there was breakfast provided to our room. Whilst we didn’t want to cook in the room, we are on a tight budget it would have been helpful for there to be bowls and plates and cutlery to have at least had some cereal that we could have brought ourselves. We were there for a friends retirement event and do not have the funds to eat many meals out.

Great location; will be back.

The location was superb; close to the walking/hiking tracks, Echo Point (3 Sisters viewing area), Katoomba Cascade and Waterfall, and Scenic World. And the local bus stops were close by (2-minute walk). The room was spacious and well heated. Cleanliness was okay overall (unless you look behind the bedside dresser and other not-within-sight areas).

Cobwebs and dust behind bedside dresser and other not-within-sight areas. The shower water temperature can change rapidly (much hotter or much colder) depending on what the neighbouring unit did (turning on or turning off their wash basin tap or shower). So, we 'managed' our visit to the shower based on the sound of water flow next door.

No breakfast available

We were not contacted to say room was ready. We arrived at 2pm and were told rather curtly that we were to wait for a text message, even though we could see the room and it was ready. The fridge was not clean. It was incredibly dusty. We dropped a phone behind the bedside table and the dust was an inch thick. The heated blanket on left side/ plug socket wasn't working. Bathroom bin was very dirty on the outside.

Its very windy outside, and the tree is hitting the window at night time, has been waked up few times at night. So because the noise, could not sleep properly at night.

Will definitely try staying in this motel again if ever we come back to Blue Mountains.

Motel is very near the Scenic World and a short drive to the centre where restaurants and shops are located. Family room is spacious. Cleanliness is okay; there were flying insects in the bathroom but no harm nonetheless.

Room was big enough but was not in perfect condition. Price was high for a room in condition found.

Motel is well located to areas of interest in Katoomba. Management staff were pleasant to speak to.

Motel room had a dripping tap and window flyscreen was damaged. Thick Dust above door window and thick on blind. Also. the tea making facilities and fridge was very small. Also, fridge needed defrosting, as it was solid with ice under small freezer section. No sink to wash up cups etc., Had to use sink in bathroom. Car parking was not dedicated to a room. Had to park some distance away from where room was located, until someone moved their car nearer room location.

Great Value motel with all your needs for a short stay

It was a very comfortable motel with parking near to Echo Point and the 3 sisters. Our room had a sofa, fridge, kettle and microwave. It was air conditioned for the summer months and a heated blanket for the colder ones. There is no staff at the hotel - checkin is done remotely. If any problems there is an intercom near to ‘old’ reception area.

It was a 20 min walk into town which wasn’t a problem for us, but there is a bus stop near to hotel.

Location was very good, easy access to all the lookouts and restaurants. Room was clean and well presented.

Beds were very uncomfortable. The room didn’t have much natural light and was tucked in a congested area of the building.

Average/Fair for a couple of days stay.

The motel was pretty close to Scenic World and most of the waterfalls. There was a Microwave at the motel which was a plus and not many motels have one. The proximity to the shops (Coles, Woolies and ALDI) made it easy to go to the shops when needed.

Couldn’t keep the moths out of the bathroom even though the bathroom window had a screen on. Bed and pillows were a bit hard but I guess that’s standard for motels.
