Great hotel to stay at in Osaka near most of the things You’ll want to do.

Friendly staff, excellent rooms, convenient location a short walk from Dottonburi, accessible from Shinsaibashi station.

great hotel and value for money

Location and breakfast are both excellent. Friendly staff and comfort bed as well. My family have slept well all night. Definitely will stay again next time.

駅から近くて便利でした。部屋のドアに一部危険な場所がありましたが、すぐに直していただき安心できました。スタッフの対応も素晴らしかったです。

トイレの便座シャワーが使えませんでした。ボタンを押しても反応しなかった。

An excellent hotel that is very well located with lots of local interest.

The location was excellent for our first visit to Osaka, we would stay in this area again. The concierge and other staff were exceptional helping my wife to locate, and retrieve her lost passport from Narita airport in Tokyo. They really provided superb service and support. In addition they provided great local restaurant/bar advise that helped us quickly learn about the wonderful Osaka cuisine. Public transport connections were excellent.

Second stay and still loving it – Hotel Nikko Osaka

This was our second time crashing at this hotel, and the vibes were still on point. It lived up to my expectations, no letdowns here. The room was clean and had plenty of space. Shoutout to the helpful concierge for being super convenient with luggage storage before and after checking in/out. Plus, the place is with its direct exit connecting to the subway, and bam, you're right across from Daimura, Parco, and a bunch of fancy shops. I've found the most wonderful massage shop near by the hotel that a bonus. Flip it around, and you've got the American Village at the back, bringing a mix of different cultures to the scene. Tons of cool eateries and shopping hotspots in the area. Oh, and getting to Kansai International Airport is a breeze with the hotel shuttle or a taxi & train combo. Most of the places that we visited were in short walking distance. Long story short, Hotel Nikko Osaka is our go-to if we're hitting up Shinsabushi again.

Hmm...the only little thing that we wanted to picky is we did this pre-check-in thing since we rolled up to the hotel at 11 am, and they said the room would be ready after 2 pm. Cool, right? Not really. We still had to stand in line again to scan our document again and grab our room key, totally defeating the purpose of pre-checking in. Ended up queuing twice, and it felt like a total time-waster. Not cool.

Location was perfect for exploring Osaka city- easy access from Shinsaibashi station and a walking distance to both Doutonbori and Shinsaibashi.

Great accommodation with exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional staff

Great location in the city of Osaka - close to shops and cafes/restaurants. Trains were conveniently located at the basement of the hotel. Staff were exceptionally helpful and professional at all times. We only stayed a night transit before flying back to Australia but would have loved to stay longer and avail ourselves of the facilities and amenities.

Our only disappointment was the rooftop bar not open, however it is heading into winter.

Überteuertes Hotel mit in die Jahre gekommener Ausstattung

Wir haben das Hotel wegen der zentralen Lage gebucht. Das Gebäude ist sozusagen über der Metro-Station und kommt gut mit der Metro weg.

Wir dachten, es handelt sich um ein modernes Hotel. Aber leider sind die Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen und vor allem auch das Bad ist sehr alt mit fragwürdigem Duschvorhang. Wir haben an der Rezeption gefragt, wie gross das Bett ist und man sagte uns, dass es sich um ein wirklich grosses Bett handelt. Wir haben somit kein Zimmer-Upgrade genommen. Im Zimmer haben wir dann gesehen, dass es ein max. 1,50 bis 1,60 breites Bett ist und eine Seite des Bettes an der Wand steht. Im Bad haben wir fremde Haare gefunden und das Bad ist auch nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Durch die zentrale Lage hört man in dem Zimmer (und wir waren im 16. Stock!) die Metro fahren. Sehr leise ist das nicht. Weiterhin gab es keinen Tee im Zimmer, was wir bisher bei allen Hotels in Japan hatten. Das Hotel weiss um seine gute Lage und hat sehr hohe Preise, aber es ist es nicht wert. Wir würden nicht mehr in das Hotel gehen.

My stay was very nice I loved all of the toiletries that came with the room.

I like that the hotel was centrally located. I enjoyed my room and the view. We opted for the American breakfast which gave us a taste of both American and Japanese cuisines, the breakfast was very tasty and a nice treat to sample a traditional meal.

Prime location, walking distance to Namba and located next to Shinsaibashi. Same metro lane to lots of attractions! Connected to Metro at the hotel basement.

Great Location with comfy

location is great, the room is clean and comfortable. Maid is on time and very service mind.

the way to the elevator. We have to enter in front of the hotel far away from the elevator. So, when we travel with the stroller. It's hard to access. Including to time to get in the room by elevator, always to change on 2nd floor.
