Check in was smooth. The hotel arranged our transfers from Sanur.
We had 2 bedroom villa. We had no hot water in our bathrooms in the villa. After advising reception 3 times and they kept trying to tell us it was fixed when it clearly wasn't. We then had to ask for the manager, (Fanny)who offered us 30% discount. This is a very expensive resort compared to other resorts on the island but we wanted something special, how disappointed we were. They had no alternative accommodation for us. They offered us to use the day spa shower but then proceeded to tell us the showers in the spa had no hot water but we could have a bath. We said 30% was insufficient and finally agreed on 50%. They moved us into another 2 bedroom villa after they had a last minute cancellation, we held out hopes for enjoying our last 2 nights but unfortunately this villa also had issues. We had to defrost the freezers in both villas as you couldn't even get your hand inside. We had to empty the pool skimmer basket on both pools. Wanted to love this place, the location is great, staff lovely and day spa nice but I would have to say AVOID!!!! Looking back at other reviews there was a problem with the hot water in the 2 bedroom villa back in June so they should never have let us stay.

We loved everything!
Nothing, we had a brilliant stay!
7.0 / 10.0
location and restaurant
toilets kept blocking and water was turned off too many times to villas- swapped rooms twice and air conditioners broke down and toilets blocked too often
8.0 / 10.0
The location, the access to the beach, the style of the hotel, the big room, the really good food in the restaurant (especially the catch of the day!)
Quiet expensive, the service in the restaurant (the staff is not really asking or coming to you, you always need to call them even there are sooo many people working), the smell in the bathroom was not so nice (from the tubes), and take care with the laundry with which the hotel works together!! We did the mistake and gave our clothes to them. All our wait clothes were yellow and the worst was that the woman in the laundry told us we already brought our clothes like that. Horrible experience!

I like everything about the property

We loved the location and the sunbeds on the beach! The outdoor area in our room was lovely to relax and have a drink in private, the bathroom was very clean. also location is very close to Koa Donuts!
There were lots of bugs in the bedroom and the aircon was very poor, also the TV did not work. The staff did not speak great English so was very hard to communicate, they were somewhat helpful where they could be. Restaurant menu was average and expensive, we ate elsewhere most nights.

location, ambiance, proximity, staff, facilities
few included breakfast options, bed not so comfortable, room could use a little refresh

The island is gorgeous, quiet compared to some areas of Bali, hardly any traffic. This hotel is so stylish and intimate, we loved the restaurant right on the beach and all the design elements. A pool near the beach is great, and also the pool by the spa was lovely and quiet, we had it to ourselves most days.
There was some noise from the street but nothing too bad.

location is great, very nice surroundings and resort itself
aircon was not coping with the heat, bed was quite firm

We were not impressed with the dogs on-site. The terms clearly stated no dogs on the property. Was disappointing whilst eating breakfast having the ‘resident’ dogs sitting beside us obviously awaiting leftovers. Having to walk past dog droppings daily spoilt a well presented hotel.

the location, the friendly stuff, good food
parts are really old and need renovating! I hurt my toe rather badly on an old wooden board next to the spa pool - I couldn’t walk properly and needless to say that for the rest of my trip I couldn’t go swimming or do yoga. the reasons why I came to Bali in the first place…
also the rooms have warm water for like 30sec. I had a lot of mosquitos in my room, probably because the air conditioning didn’t work properly. and the rooms are very badly soundproofed, which I guess is normal in these areas, but I could hear every bird, every car, all the neighbours chatting. the masseuse in the spa had no idea what she was doing, but she was very nice. the “shop” doesn’t exist; it’s just two racks with a very limited choice of bikinis and apparel.

The facilities and location is great, right on the beach. The pool spa is wonderful and the staff were friendly. The room was ok, probably our least favourite and most expensive!

The location and the view from the restaurant is certainly Insta worthy.
The staff were friendly and were helpful.
What you see on Instagram is the only real thing that makes this property stand out.
The cost of breakfast is expensive. The food at the restaurant is not great when compared to what other hotels are offering. Every other bar does afternoon specials, here does none.
The rooms are in desperate need of a renovation if they want to remain in this price point. The images you see on their website do not reflect what you actually get.
The beds are unbelievably hard and pillows are old and lumpy. I had to request for a new pillow. Hot water comes and goes.

Nice and very private property
A bit smellly toilet and bathroom.

Location is great and staff are very friendly. Food was good!
Rooms were dark with minimal natural light and were a quite hot. Villa was a bit underwhelming, the outdoor area in particular.
Staff need to be more attentive, we ate by the pool and our finished plates sat there for 5 hours.

The villa was lovely but there could have been more kitchen utensils, paper towel etc
The food was good but the cocktails were terrible. I don't know what they're using for alcohol but it tasted awful, the wine wasn't much better.

the property is located right on the beachfront, with fantastic sunset views from the restaurant. the staff and food was lovely and it was a great location!
we had to change rooms due to noisy neighbours - the staff were more than happy to assist and help us move to a quieter room. unfortunately this rooms air conditioning didn’t work great.

The first photos you see are of the restaurant which is the only icon of the whole hotel.
Beautiful views of the ocean on a good day.
Great location also - plenty of options for food and drinks.
Rooms are dark and gloomy. Aircon was on the coldest setting and still warm at night.
Rooms are outdated. Beds were uncomfortable.
Make sure you have the mosquito repeller on as the gaps in the doors and side window are huge.
Breakfast was average, you're best off saving the additional breakfast charge and going next door.
Maybe recommended for an older couple/people as there was not much atmosphere for younger people.

Location, relaxed atmosphere
The barking dogs barking all night. Need more pillows!
Requires creamer or milk in rooms for coffee.
9.0 / 10.0
Great rooms, location, restaurant and staff
Coffee machine broke on the second to last day

Location was perfect. On the beach front and close to town. The food is good and so is the spa.
Value for money. I expected a little better quality for the price we paid.
New bedding needs to be purchased as it’s quite old. I would have expected that kind of bedding for somewhere paying 60k a night and not 300+

This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect area of the island. They were more than helpful with every request.
