Laza Beach is a gem! Beach right outside, amazing fish taverna, and lovely people! Absolute paradise. Can’t wait to return!
5.0 / 10.0
Well maintained exterior buildings and external surroundings / atmosphere.
Good location from main city center - walking distance - far from noise.
Convenient beach location in front of hotel (with extra charge of sunbeds as mentioned)
Free parking
Breakfast not worth to be paid / included in price, as the quality overall was standard, however the quantity and the non diversity of choices (omelet - yogurt - juice - coffee = every day) categorized as an overall poor experience.
Room cleanliness was surely not as expected (considering the room was priced over 120 Euro per day), as even since day one found dusty on the furniture's and never cleaned in total 3 days, as well as, the balcony was dirty and never cleaned also.
No soundproof between rooms. It's getting really difficult to sleep when the above room (top floor) or next room there's a child playing or actually screaming at 00:00 AM.
Early check out (07:00 AM) not allowed to be served even a coffee.

The staff of the property were amazing! Everyone was warm and welcoming and always willing to help us out and answer questions! The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was needed.
Our only constructive criticism would be with the breakfast. It was the same thing everyday, but it was free so I thought it was worth it.

Great location and fantastic fish taverna - what’s not to like? - we will certainly be coming back

The beach is right across the street from the beach. It was reasonably priced, even with booking the room on the same day. The associated restaurant had great food. The room was clean, comfortable and nice place to stay on the island.
From the port the ferries come into the hotel is 1.3km away. It can be a bit of a walk with the sun beating down on you. The AC turns off if a door is open. Which is understandable from a power conservation standpoint, but still not the best if the door gets opened at random points of the day.

It is absolutely the best place in Agistri. After 5 years going in the summer, Laza is the best. It is 2 mins away from the noisy night area so the location is wonderful for rest calm. The host is really caring and nice, the food is delicious, the breakfast unbelievable, the beach has the clearest water, the rooms are so confortable...I had the best experience ever and will come back always.
Nothing! I could not believe how wonderful is Laza and the restaurant. The owners are really lovely.

5 minutes walk from our arrival at the port. It took 10 minutes to find our booking despite me having a pin number from booking.com
Room 101 was clean and tidy and it was cleaned daily. We could not use the balcony due to overhanging plants which were mosquito land!
The cleaner changed towels and bedding daily. A good shower by Greek island standards
We were met with 'you have a booking' No Kalimera or even a smile which is international. We were left waiting for 10 minutes until our booking was found. We were advised that we had to eat dinner in the restaurant to enable us to use the sunbeds on the beach as it was a separate business to the rooms. As the restaurant is a fish restaurant and we are vegetarian we were unable to use the beach and sunbeds.
We advised the owner of this and we were ignored for the next 3 days! Never have I come across unfriendly Greeks before. The owner looked the other way from us any time we passed. On leaving I took the door key back and all he said was bye!
Due to the unfriendly service when we are back on Agistri I will not be back in Laza

We loved the hotel, owner was really nice and accommodating, room very comfortable and next to the beach but not in the centre of the city so it was more peaceful. Breakfast was phenomenal, and we often ate dinner at their restaurant as well it was delicious. Beach beds are perfect you can just relax and the view is breathtaking. We will be back!
Property is great, but take water shoes for the beach as it is full of rocks and painful without them

Mr Anastasios and the staff were perfect hosts, warm and kind. The food was great and for a great price, too. The location is also perfect, because it allows you to reach different spots on the island at a walking distance.
The only thing I didn't like was we had to leave.

spacious and newly renovated rooms. bed really comfy. family owned hotel. everyone is really helpful.
food and drinks menu quite expensive. eg one fried egg 4€, and I got charged 2.50€ for an instant coffee. that doesn’t means that the food is not tasty! I have just not tried it

the location was perfect so near to the center and so near to the port, the atmosfere was great, it was so near to the sea that you can heard the noisy of the wind and is relaxing
it was a little bit dark and also the curtains were not so adapted for privacy and when you want stay on the balcony there is no privacy at all but still a good place

The position is perfect - 20 metres from the sea. For guest there are free sunbeds on the beach to use. The watter is really clean. There is a restaurant as part of the hotel which is really convenient. The tables have really nice view on the see which you can enjoy all day long - breakfats, lunch, dinner. The people running the palce are super nice and polite. Room was clean and comfortable. Every room has a balcony, but there are only few rooms with the see view - we recommend to book sea view as the other rooms overlook other buildings which are quite close.

The position was perfect, just a few minutes from the main area of Skala.
In front of the beach. The breakfast area very nice, basically the restaurant area, simple and clean in front of the sea.
The breakfast was not the usual buffet, it was served with a nice balance of food, eggs, bread, butter, jam, fruit and every day some special sweet.
We really enjoyed also the restaurant, we stayed just few days and we managed to have only one dinner, but it was a real surprise, the sea food was amazing. The traditional dishes but with a special touch! I really recommend the restaurant if you don't manage to stay at the Laza Beach. The name of the restaurant is Yalos Fish, don't miss it!!!
The room was comfortable and cozy, very clean! The 2 balconies were a great outdoor area.
We had not received any suggestion from the staff.
Maybe some more information upon arrival will be great to start, like what to do, where to rent the e-bikes or suggestion about possible tour or activities. It's also true that the island is so small that you find anything you need on line or just walking around. That's what we did and we had a lot of fun!!!!

Very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and it was good value for money. Nice private beach out the front.
That you couldn’t use the sun beds unless eating at the restaurant. It should be enough that you are staying at the hotel.

The hostes were very kind and helpful with everything we needed. The place is very clean and has a very nice beach just across the street.
