On entering the driveway huge skip bin full of rubbish.
Trolley of dirty laundry perched near our doorway.
Bed had black hairs in it.
We didn't stay the night but left and booked into a b and b down the road.

Very charming staff, a good location and unique decor. My room was comfortable and the check-in and check-out process was very easy
The room had a bit too much furniture in it for the size and the bathroom could have felt a bit cleaner.

I loved it because it is colourful, quirky and very, very friendly. As a solo traveller most of the time (yay retirement), feeling safe, comfortable and looked after is number one for me. Junction Motel met the criteria.
Plus, it has personality. There is so much to look at, from lovely artworks to shop dummies to an abundance of succulents. This is not a boring, sterile come and go motel. This is a stop and linger and relax whilst having fun.
My only disappointment was that the restaurant is only open for functions. But the room service breakfast certainly hit the spot.

The decorators moto was clearly "more is more and less is a bore darling!" Wild posters, paintings, antiques and furniture throughout. The place was clean and warm, but obviously old.
Our shower did not drain and I stubbed my toes multiple times on the kitch in the room. The historic posters and paintings are not going to be to everyone's tastes. The naked 12yo boys in the coconut tree were a worry.

Breakfast would have been helpful anf convenient

This is an old school 1960s motel with rooms opening onto a shared veranda and parking at the front. Instead of modernising, the owners have remodeled it in a colourful retro manner that is very funky. It was a comfortable and unique place to stay and the price was appropriate
I liked pretty much everything. I suspect that the walls could be quite thin although I didn’t have anyone in the next room to be sure about that

It was funky and trendy with all the different furniture, plants and antiques.
The car park - there wasn't enough room.

Very quirky place to stay. The surrounding area is quite charming with plenty of beautiful scenery. Not too far from Hobart. Staff are lovely and friendly with plenty of suggestions for what to do around the area and Tas.

Well I booked this accommodation for the unusual experience and that is what we had. I knew what was coming up when we arrived there were 6 of us but my sister didn't know and she couldn't stop laughing. It was an unusual place but the whole experience was fun. Bit sad the restaurant wasn't opened but understand. The owner has created an artistic experience the rooms are all different and there are unique collectibles everywhere, now I mean everywhere outside on your verandah are is a special experience. The rooms are not cluttered but at first look you do wonder. Everything is clean our rooms were spacious except for the twin bedroom a bit tight. We were so glad we stayed and the owner was lovely. One thing I want to mention is the room info book was very comprehensive on information about things to do in the area. We did it all on the recommendation from the book, such a historic place. Oh if you aren't there on the tour days for the mental asslyum we called and did a private tour on a day that suited us. Thanks for the special experience we loved it.
Can't think of anything perhaps the cleaner was a little too keen in moving my friend out before 10 on day we left but minor
