Exceptionally welcoming and friendly! A wonderful and tasty cooked breakfast, big and filling enough for us cyclists. Very comfortable king size bed with brilliant mattress and bamboo sheets. Peter is just an incredible host and has a great sense of humour. One of the best stays of our 8 day Tasmanian cycle Trail. We were allowed to use the washing machine to wash our cycling gear and our bikes were wheeled into a storage basement. We parted as friends. Easily a 10 out of 10......đź‘Ťđź‘Ť
We cannot think of anything.

The breakfast was excellent, the bed was so comfortable, the shower was awesome.
I personally didn’t realise we would be staying with the host. Peter was lovely but I would not have chosen to stay had I realised that we were sharing a house with a stranger.

Very friendly host. Was very accomodating to our needs whilst staying there. Enjoyed our time.
There is a large dog at the premises however once introduced to him he had no interest in us and did not bother us.

I liked the interesting history of the house. The host was very cheerful man who practised the art of hospitality well.
Comfortable bed, Breakfast was delicious. The location wasn’t too far from central Hobart - just a pleasant half hour drive river side.
Nothing of any consequence was wrong with the accommodation.

Comfy bed. Had the space to ourselves as the owner was out soon after we arrived. Location was fine but on main road. Covered secure parking in lock up garage. Owner did everything he could yo make us feel at home. Very friendly and open with his house.
The owner lives in the same space. Only one bathroom which was very compact. This space was the toilet also which was accessed through the living/kitchen area. Owner did say if we were uncomfortable with his dog and him being upstairs that he would move downstairs. This was a little uncomfortable for us as it is his house. Perhaps I misread the advertising on Booking.com but was not expecting shared quarters.

Clean and friendly host, good location
We would liked a more private/ seperate room with on suite. The owner large dog has free range of the house and didn’t like us there.

Location was excellent for the event I was attending, and very close to central New Norfolk too.
Individualised breakfast exceptional, great range of choices, prepared for exactly when I needed it.
Amazing choice of bathrooms, including fabulous spa bath.
Loved getting to meet Woolfie the dog - and the host Peter too of course :)
Nothing.

This is a BnB style of accommodation, with one guest room. The bed is superb with a private bathroom. Everything was spotless. Guests share the sitting and dining areas, with the warm fire Peter is a fine host; I enjoyed his conversation. The breakfast was sumptuous. I will stay again.

The house was very comfortable, clean and welcoming especially with the log fire burning. Peter was also very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The bed was warm, comfortable with fresh soft sheets and pillows. We both slept great. Breakfast was wonderful, tasty, delicious, filling and cooked by Peter, who was once a former chief. He enthralled us with tales of his life, both in Australia and overseas and provided us with places to see and attractions to attend. We highly recommend Peter's place to one and all when staying in Hobart.
Although we are both fond of dogs, Peter's pet dog Woolfie was very nervous of us and barked on our arrival and at other times when we were moving around the home. While this was not a major issue, it did dampen the visit as we felt that we had upset the animal albeit unintentionally although Peter did ensure us that he was fine.

Lovely breakfast made by Peter, very delicious much better than restaurants, especially his unique butter mushroom, really very nice, must try it! In my mind Haere’ Mai is place which Peter use his heart to operate and he want to share his story with everyone who live in this house, so who can dislike the place like that, I satisfied very much. Strongly recommend to choice his house, you will not disappointed~
