Very lovely hosts. Always available and happy to help! Clean and comfortable place. Shower was good enough compared to the average in Cusco. Full kitchen and luggage storage for free.
The WiFi was a bit off in my room but not too bad either. Perhaps the location not very central but not too long a walk to the centre.

Excelente relacion calidad-precio!

It’s super clean and tidy, the water is hot, coco is super helpful and responsible , the house is pretty
Every time we enter or leave the house, we need to call Coco, which is not convenient

Helpful staff
Breakfast was okay- bread and eggs.
We didn't like that someone came into clean our room without us knowing. I think we should have been asked if we wished for our room to be cleaned.
The room was very loud with traffic noise outside.
We didn't like that you had to ask to leave/ be let out and hand in your key the hotel every time you want to leave the hotel.

The hosts make this place what it is - a family run hotel, they’re so wonderful and welcoming, and accommodated my needs, such as putting out breakfast extremely early for me to get my flight. The hotel itself while a bit dated, is clean, the beds fairly comfortable and the wifi strong.
A little bit noisy from the main road, although that could have been my room location. Nothing ear plugs couldn’t fix. Location is a bit further (10-15 minute walk but without hills!) and all in all reasonable and shouldn’t put anyone off.

A lovely place with character. great value. The hosts were excellent and helped with everything. They can do laundry and the kitchen is available for guests to use. Fantastic place. And free parking for my motorbike was a real bonus and why I originally booked. 15 minutes walk to the historic centre and location feels safe at night.
A minor point but towels are extra.

Great place overall, coco and is wife really care about you. The breakfast is really good and fresh. They are available at anytime too. The wifi works great. Cover motorcycle garage. 10 min walk to the center of old Cusco.

The owners of El Tuco are both friendly and helpful, but we saw more of Coco during our stay - that man never stops working to make sure his guests are happy. The house was built by his family in the colonial style with wonderful wooden floors and high ceilings. We had a clean ensuite bathroom and access to a communual kitchen which allowed us to cook and keep costs down. The wifi was fast and the shower was hot with good pressure. Easy walking access to historic old town in about 10 minutes. We will be returning for two more nights on our return from Machu Picchu.
Nothing, El Tuco met all of our needs and more.

Everything!! Me and my family really needed a nice place to sleep, close to the city center, and with a place to save the car. So finding this place was such a blessing, it was available, affordable, and a comfy place to stay the night, sadly we just stayed for the night, but next time if I'm around the area, I definitely will visit them again. And the nicest thing we all appreciated, was the attention from the owners, their hospitality is out of this world. They welcomed us so warmly and helped us with everything we needed, really really nice and easy people to talk to. If I could give them more stars, I'd give them. If you plan coming to Cuzco, you got to stay here. I hope to come back soon.
what could have been better?

Need to ring the door to get in or out of the hotel.

Great location and very hospitable owners in a lovely old building. Warm shower, comfortable bed, good wifi and breakfast at the time you specify. If you're arriving by car or motorcycle as I did look to arrive on the side street to the right hand side of the hotel as this is where the parking is located.

We had a nice stay at El Tuco! The location is perfect, close to the center but also to different collectivo's. The rooms are big and it was the best shower we had in Peru. We also could use the kitchen to make dinner ourselves which was nice. The owners are very kind and can help with anything you need!

Well the way Coco treats people is quite warm always so kind and helpful, willing to solve any kind of need.
It's a really good place to stay: quiet and peaceful; scorching water to shower if you like that way, and once again the way Coco attends his guests, me in this case.
Nothing was so notable to mention there, perhaps the Wifi but who cares.

Good location- 10min walk to the main square
Kitchen for cooking and very close to 2 big supermarkets
Spacious, clean rooms
Hot shower
Basic breakfast included in price so very reasonable
Highlight was Coco and his wife- they were both very welcoming, warm and friendly. Coco helped us organise our trip to the Amazon, book taxis and gave us advice.
A lovely 2 night stay in El Tuco and I would definitely stay again when back in Cusco.

We had a great stay at El Tuco Hotel, the room was nice and comfy and the location is really good as well. In a quiet area and with a short walk from everything. Coco was the best host, helped us with everything we needed and made us really good breakfast early in the morning. And we will miss our chats with him because he’s just so friendly and welcoming!
The first night is was a little bit cold in the room but else everything was just perfect for us!

I stayed one week at El Tuco and loved it. The staff (Coco and Ana María) are super friendly and helpful, the room was very nice, comfortable and clean, and it's close to the city centre. I really recommend it!

This was easily one of the best places I stayed at during my time in Peru. Coco was as good of a host as imagined, and had great advice on any questions I could of had on Cusco and the surrounding area (with superb English I might add). Add to all of this delicious breakfasts, hot showers, and an easy 15 minute walk to the square only made the place that much better!

Hottest shower I have ever had while in this area of Peru over 12 years! The owners are kind and will do anything they can to assist in your stay. Location is within walking distance quickly to the historic district. Comfy beds and great breakfast given! Have stayed with them a few times now - highly recommend!
