Location is really good for transport and main touristic planes in Cuenca
The breakfast is too basic and the furniture in the rooms are too old, so the beds make a lot of noise. It should be improved.

How clean and the people was always smile and friendly. I felt very comfortable. And they were always there if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this place.
The bathroom a little to small that is all

Perfect location in a historic centre of Cuenca, just 5 minutes walk from the Cuenca cathedral. There are a lot of local markets and restaurants nearby, so you will have always something to do! If you come by car, there is a private parking nearby, so you do not have to worry about finding a parking spot. Rooms are not the biggest but they are really well kept.

Breakfast is a buffet with your choice of eggs. It is always quiet pleasant. We like the diningroom.
We love the nice hot shower with good water pressure and the French decor of the whole hotel.
We also are very happy with the location, right across the street from the tram that takes you to the bus station or airport. Ofcourse, being in the historic district, so close to good resturants and the two cathedrals is great also.
We like everything about the hotel.

Only one thing was good. The location. Just a short walk away from the Parque Calderon. It's also near both tram lines (north and south). Breakfast was kind of good, although dull. Same thing each morning starting at 7:15!!!
Nobody, absolutely nobody speaks English. The rooms are gloomy at best. If you are not on the first floor expect just lukewarm water in the shower. In the mornings there is nobody at the front desk to let you out the door!!! You have to ring a bell. Go figure. They claim to have a contract with 3 taxi companies but when it comes to it none are available. Especially if there is a holiday. Watch out if you have to be at the airport early. I had to hire a private driver.

I ain't the Ritz, but their prices are unbeatable. Excellent location. If you need a clean room with a breaky, go for it.
The bed cover were a bit dusty.

Room was nice and inexpensive
On noisy street. Road noise all night

We really enjoyed the quiet location in a freshly updated road system in Manglaralto. The view of the ocean from the large balcony was fantastic. The breakfasts were just right, and the service was both helpful and friendly. We truly felt that we were pampering ourselves there.
Nothing to complain about, you do need to take a taxi if you want to get to the center of the action in Montanita, but we saw that as a good thing.

Location was prime, right in the Historic center. Breakfast was fine. Great value. I would come back
Although it was advertised that they have parking, there was none and it is a big disavantage to the people driving to Cuenca.

Very Quaint and picturesque. The breakfast was good. They were short on eggs due to the indigenous peoples demonstrations, though not fault of the hotel. Well situated in the city. The staff was very pleasant.
Only complaint was lack of warm water for the showers.

Simply perfect

The hotel is offering breakfast included. Coffee, bread, batter, yogurt, some fruits, some days there are eggs, some days no eggs. Staff are friendly.
Water in the shower is cold, not getting any wormer even after long time of keeping the faucet open. Door lock is staggers, the key does not fit properly. Dark in the room, weak light bulbs.

It was a great location- very central
there was no hit water the first morning but then on the next days I learnt that if you leave the hit tap on for at least 10/15 minutes it eventually heats up.
The worst thing was that my bedroom was right outside the sala where guests have breakfast. there was no corridor - it was just in that same open space. there were kids running around and shouting right outside my bedroom door every morning and I could also hear everything going on in the reception area. every time a guest arrived and had to be buzzed in, every conversation. There was also no window to the outside, so no daylight. my only window was directly in the sala, so I had to have my curtain shut the whole time. weird layout!

The place was cozy, I would definitely come back to stay there.
it doesn’t have its own garage so you have to park your car around the corner

The water wasn’t that warm, it can be a little bit noisy in the morning

Small hotel with a small room, but adequate for a short stay. Location was perfect. Breakfast was okay. Good value for the money.
Can be a bit noisy depending on how many guests are at the hotel.

The staff really went out of their way for us. They did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. They had excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat I'm the area. I was really impressed!
It is near a historic church which is great. Sometimes you could hear some light, but pleasing music. However, the bells are loud when they ring, and they go off at 6am. We had a suite near the front street, which had a nice balcony, but you may want to request a suite toward the back if you are a light sleeper.
