Great location, nice room, quiet which is unusual to the location. Nice small balcony
Could be more cleaner, towels had weird smell and stains but other than that it was okay.
Also lots of flies in the area but its usual for the summer near the market.
Also air conditioner rarely makes it to the sleeping room so we had to keep our door opened.

Location.
Balcony facing the park as requested.
Very poorly equipped in the kitchen and furnishings quite dilapidated
Bath stained
flower boxes unkempt
Courtyard beautiful but could be cleaner

Couldn’t be closer the the market and walking distance from most places of interest.
Nice courtyard and amazing staff.
We overlooked the market and main road (which was fine) but the noise was more than expected because the windows were thin but it’s an old property so double glazing would ruin its character.

• location - right across Machaneh Yehudah Market
• cool view of the area
• comfy and easy to access
• nice and chic
• friendly and helpful staff
• good Wi-Fi
• good tea
• all appliances worked
• seemed clean and organized
• the sheets and towels smelled like cheap detergent
• a bit noisy, but the area demands it, so it was not a big deal
• TV didn’t work

This was the noisiest room in the last 10 years for me and I travel lot, I mean a lot!
A block start reciting and shouting since 5 am in the morning!
No sleep!

staff were attentive and answered questions about the local environment. location is great. hidden from the main thoroughfare, you get an authentic taste of life in the city. close to good food and atmosphere. walking distance to many attractions.

great location, right in Nachlaot, a step away from the Machne Yehuda Market.
The room was spacious.
My room was overlooking The market and Agripas Street, so it was a bit noisy, also in night time. lite sleepers might find this troubling.

Quiet despite being in the middle of the city, nice decoration and very clean. All rooms have a balcony and you can go outside to smoke. You have everything you need to prepare food.
That there is no elevator and there were no instant coffee sachets, only Turkish coffee.

As Jerusalem prices go, it was OK - one doesn't expect 5 star. Furniture a bit basic but bearable - bed was OK but gave partner a bad back. Staff were helpful and able to answer most questions.
Two bar electric heater - a bit of a fire risk. It rained hard and the courtyard roof leaked.Water heater not 'on-demand- it had to be turned on and off like an old fashioned boiler. Wifi worked but only from next door's apartment - the router didn't work in ours all week.

Great location close to the markets and the old city, about 20 minutes walk to Damascus Gate. Everything was clean, the staff was very helpful.
There was noise from outside at night, probably some parties going on in the area. But we were really tired every day, so it didn't disturb our sleep.

Charming suite in fantastic location 1minute from Machane Yehuda market. Was quiet and had a lot of character.
Beds were very narrow

Location and convenience
Bathtub wasn't clean, linen on couch and not put away.
3.9
Convenient location next to the market and bus stops.
Staff.
Confortable beds.
The kitchen is not properly equipped, almost everything is missing. We were told reason is guests steal but that's no a justification for not supplying what honest guests may need during their stay.
Cleaning should be improved.

The location is really good. The room for 5 is big enough and it has nice views to the market. The decoration is charming. We arrived a bit earlier and we were allowed to check in.
The room was not clean. We prepared the dinner and we needed to clean all the kitchen supplies because they were dirty. In addition, the supplies were not enough for 5 people. We only had 2 chairs to sit around the table. The sofa was really dirty, it even had papers and used tissues under the cushion and the mattress of the foldable bed had strange stains. The curtain in the bathroom was way too long so you step on it while taking a shower. It was not the cleanest either. Some of the towels had holes. The room had the feeling of not being well maintained. I was in this hotel some years ago and by then it was clean and nice. But not anymore. Very disappointing.
