soundproofing is insufficient, all sounds are heard. on Saturday morning at 6 am, the cleaners are vacuuming. a very strong smell of food wafted up from the dining room to the second floor. the rooms seem to be about 100 years old, all dirty and dirty. the air conditioner creaks strongly, avoid this hotel. and very expensive

Quiet location not too far from Old City.
Wi-Fi was poor to start with. one or two furnishings a little shabby/not working.

The room was ok
The most disappointing thing we’re the waiters downstairs in the restaurant. They never smile and therefore don’t make the guests feel welcome. The service is appalling; you have to wait a long time until they serve and a longer time for the food to be brought to the table. Lonely planet writes it’s the best restaurant in east Jerusalem, but compared to “Cloves” just around the corner or the “American Colony” restaurant it is nowhere near as good as them, even the “Al Liwan” Cafe serves better food as a simple cafe. Totally disappointing!

Clean (though fairly basic) rooms and friendly staff.
Located in East Jerusalem, you will have to walk about 20min to get to the main tourist spots by the Old City. You could also take the tram located 5min walk from the hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a wonderful size.
Housekeeping kept waking us up early trying to clean the room. The floor in the room felt like it was covered with dirt.

Location is good for us to visit our daughter.
Everything is 'average' which means it is very expensive for what it is.

Loved the location, the food was absolutely amazing. Breakfast buffet had so many healthy varieties.
We had a Junior Suite which was a great size for that part of the world.
It was perfect for us.

Free parking; good location; nice balcony; good restaurant
A little close to the disturbances in Sheik Jarrah - the stun grenades were close and loud; the water from the shower was hard to keep contained.
