the location is superb. It's really is at the center of everything and walking is the best way to get all the places you want to visit in Hobart city center. You won't be bother to walk at night because the place is really safe for tourist.
nothing that I didn't like. I like everything about the place. There's a bar at the property so if you want to have some drinks or two you can easily get in to your room.

super convenient, clean and comfortable.
The hotel staff emptied their bottle bins at 3am outside my window.

Staff were wonderful and very helpful.
Chef tried to pass silverside/porterhouse mix as porterhouse steak. When we complained front of house staff were apologetic then went above and beyond to make amends. Satisfactory outcome for us.

Good location. Bar/casino was fine.
No elevator, but staff (and locals) helped with luggage.
6.0 / 10.0
The hotel was well located and the bathroom was clean.
On the first two nights the bed was not made properly. The bottom sheet was not touched and were around the wrong way. An investigation of the problem required pulling bed away from the wall which uncovered a deep layer of dust on the carpet identifying it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Also our room was at the back of the building above the outdoor smoking terrace, which meant the window had to be kept closed to keep out smoke and noise (especially on a Saturday afternoon) when there were a lot of punters out there.

Good location, easy access to bars and cafes on waterfront
Do not get room 11. So much noise from smokers courtyard of hotel in evening and early morning when cleaning up!! Stairs to go up, which is tough with heavy luggage, though on check in young guy did help with wife's heavy bag.

The noise at the pub area, walls doesn’t seems sound proof as well as I could hear people walking up and down from outside
The aircon is too cold I have to switch it off.

8.0 / 10.0
great location right in the city, everything was close buy and easily walked. Staff were freindly and very helpful.. rooms small and simply appointed but more then adequate for our needs as a base from which to explore Hobart. Lost of eating selections close buy and short walk down to the wharfs and Salamanca area.
Little bit of street noise but no more then what you would experience with any innner city accomodation.

location, the fact it had been updated,
19 stairs to room and no lift (partner has bad knees do it was a battle)

staff lovely very helpful
great location
the curtains were falling down and not clean
3.0 / 10.0
About the only thing I was satisfied with was the location of the accommodation. Central to everything. The bed was okay.
The place has a narrow wooden stairs with no lift. There's no staff as they only work to serve the pub downstairs. The place is shockingly noisy. Absolutely no noise insolation on the windows, between rooms or to the room's main door. You hear the garbage trucks and the bins banging all night because you are right next to the mall.
