Exceeded All My Expectations - All Staff are Wonderful

Right from checkin throughout my entire stay of two nights the staff in all areas of the hotel were excellent. My room was well appointed with modern facilities a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. It is a vibrant place with many different eating and drinking/socialising areas. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. A special thanks to the older gentleman who was at the checkin desk as he was the ultimate professional and ambassador for the hotel - he said "Enjoy your stay" after his informative and friendly welcome, and I replied "I already am as that is the best check-in experience I have ever had."

Parking was tricky as it is next to a shopping centre, but a little walk never hurt anyone. The carparking area is well lit and felt safe and secure.

Great hotel with everything you need. Thankyou.

Stayed here after a day exploring Adelaide. About 3k from the city centre it was great value. The complimentary snacks were very much appreciated. On the 6th floor fantastic sunset views. Used the restaurant downstairs which was easy , good food and great service

A very comfortable and uncomplicated stay thank you

Overall I had comfortable and uncomplicated stay. All the staff from from front desk to housekeeping were friendly and helpful. The beds were lovely and soft. The spa bath was excellent. It was close to all amenities like shops, chemist etc. Seriously I would live there if I could!!

What didn't I like? There's nothing that springs to mind.

Spacious room, very comfortable beds, entire venue well maintained. Dinner was delicious.

Breakfast - the worst we have ever had. Excessive noise in room from downstairs function. Parking situation not ideal.

It was a great location with a lovely room, however I believe we paid a high price for it. We have stayed before during

Housekeeping were amazing, the room was made beautifully each day

It was expensive and the staff down in the sports bar/ restaurant weren’t very accommodating

The Arkaba Hotel offers good quality rooms at mostly good prices. Rooms need a refresh.

The room is comfortable and suits my needs, but getting a little dated. I have stayed here before and it is fine.

Parking is open and not as safe as I would like. I wanted to book an extra night and the rate increased greatly, so I did not book.

Great staff and service

It’s an older building but it’s kept exceptionally clean. The rooms were big, the front desk staff were beyond amazing and the room service was brilliant. There is a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel as well as two local shopping centres around 100 metres away. It isn’t in the city but it’s easy to use public transport to get around.

They seem to be doing a huge upgrade out the front of the building so visually it didn’t look appealing from the outside.

The both beds were extremely soft which i like and it was very comfy and private

Male Duty Manager beware of. Lady one lovely.

The spa and the lady who knew what she was doing and explained things properly beforehand and rang me back

The duty manager guy and the other guy who was with him as they deliberately targeted us as he remembered me raising my voice to my clients co ordinate for not paying for my clients room for us to stay so we got refused to stay there a couple of times as the duty manager explained we had to pay bond by credit card only. We both only had debit cards but he said it was not good. Enough and had to be a MasterCard as they don't except cash which we had on us. We understood this but I was a bit angry as my client automatically starts crying gets upset for third time of not being able to stay because of bond issues. Her co ordinator for NDIS was notified by text messages and phone calls with voicemails I left for explaining and to ring us back urgently to try fix this situation. The duty manager didn't like me as I had a go at her over the phone for leaving my client in such a state from being refused. My client stresses easily and it can cause her to have epileptic seizures. So yes I got a bit hot headed with him but also said I'm not having a go at you at all I'm protective of my client. As the co ordinator was not doing her job propeh and refused to listen to me and kepted bugging in on the phone right Infront of duty manager guy. So he said once he come up to our door I remember you. So he deliberately targeted me. I apologised to him for doing the wrong thing in room as nice as I could and they went quiet. I said what else do U want me to say or do. I'm happy to do the right thing here even though I didn't deliberately stink room out it was the make who came up to the room as a visitor after paying the bond with his card for me. So the duty manager was not happy with the apology and looked at his mate and asked if the 2 blokes were staying in room I said no there not they came up to have a drink and talk with us as he paid the bond with his credit card. So because the room stank from them they said well he will lose his deposit now.

The room was nothing like the photo, bathroom full of hair, cleaners very careless and broke my charger costing me $60 to replace staff didn't do anything about it.

Nice but request a room away from noisy road and road works

The room was nice and clean. It had a really nice spa. There is a coffee pod machine in the room which was really nice. The TV is a smart TV so we could stream our on Netflix or stan.

There were road works going on outside our room all night. The were jack hammering and reversing trucks in intervials. Every time we started to drift of to sleep we were awakened again. I complained to staff in the morning and was told they don't get notified when nightworks are happening.

Excellent value for money hotel. Close to the city and staff were very friendly.

Check in was easy. Parking is handy. Room is nice and spacious.

There is work happening at the hotel at present - but that does not affect your accommodation.
