13 mins to Brum by Uber. Comfy bed, lovely staff & fantastic breakfast
It is a little tired but for the cost I wasn’t expecting bells n whistles anyway & honestly the staff make up fur any short comings with their lovely helpful selves

Very friendly staff. Willing to help. Brilliant service and good value for money
Dripping toilet kept me awake and sash windows wouldn't stay open as we stayed in the old part of the building.

Staff are friendly
Unfortunately the bed was really uncomfortable and I couldn’t get to sleep properly because I was waking up every couple of hours feeling uncomfortable and with back pain. The walls are also quite thin so you can hear the next door room do things like plug things into their socket etc

Comfy bed, free onsite parking, cheap drinks and friendly staff
Could hear above room walking around quite noisily most of the night. Creaky floors

Club in pub blasting music til 1am keeping the whole family awake. Clientele making calls in hallway outside our door. Neighbors through paper-thin walls vomiting and partying.

Comfy bed with plug sockets really close, heater working really good
Bathroom: nowhere to hang a towel, washing hands in either boiling or ice water, no shelf to put toothbrush etc, could also use a hairdryer

Location to where we were going. Love the pub atmosphere. Great value for money.
The room was a bit small and tired. But in all just what we needed for one night. Would not fancy a week stay. Unfortunately there was a nasty smell in the bathroom but it was clean.

Comfortable and well located to Birmingham Town centre just a 20 minute walk. Very kindly let us park in their car park before check in and after check out. Very friendly staff.
If you're a light sleeper it is on quite a busy noisy road.

Convenient for cricket ground. Its a great big pub so I'd you like that vibe this is your place. Comfy bed. A leak from base of toilet. Reported and they said they would sort. It is a pub that stays open late so if you cannot deal with pub noise then do nit stay. I slept fine and i looked out onto the rear garden outside smoking area. Great stay.
All good for me

Stayed here last night for a gig in Digbeth. Location perfect for what we needed, staff helpful, room clean and great value for money
Walls are quite thin but not really too much of an issue

It was close to the city centre
Staff were unfriendly, walls were thin and we could hear everything outside and upstairs, unfriendly pub environment (you walk in and everyone stares), plus my friend was insulted, location is surrounded by derelict buildings and groups of males hanging around that leer and shout as you walk but. the outside was filthy with litter and smashed glass, friends room had skid marks in the toilet. our bathroom smelled like mould/ sewage. Breakfast was meant to be included but when we arrived was told the chef was off. Really disappointing all round.

Location was good. The staff changed our room to the ground floor as my sister uses a walking stick and would have had difficulty with the stairs.
Great access for us in terms of car park and our room.
Due to no ventilation in the bathroom, it really did smell awful and stank of mould/mildew or possibly a plumbing sewage issue. We slept with the door firmly closed to contain the smell away from the sleeping area of the room
I would go as far as saying it is an environmental issue and surprised that the bathroom did not have an extractor fan as there is no open window.
