Okay for an overnight sleep

Easy to check in and the reception staff were very friendly. The room size is good for a short stay for two people. The kitchenette is well stocked with crockery, cutlery and pots/ pans. Great shower pressure and temperature. Bonus is the off-street parking.

The room had a damp and bleachy smell. Lot's of condensation in the room. The fresh towels were slightly damp. The building could do with an update. Noticed a few baby cockroaches crawling around the kitchenette.

Perfect for a business trip!

The room was fantastic, clean, comfy and just what I needed for a business trip. Walking distance to Newmarket. Free parking for duration of stay. Will definitely stay again.

Easy to find, free off-street parking, our rooms were very clean, beds were very comfortable as well, and the staff were

We will be using the Alexander Inn as our 'go to' hotel in future when staying in Auckland.

We had a very quiet stay which was important after some bad experiences in No 9. and the Boulevard Hotels. It was also exceptionally clean and welcoming.

it is worth the money

the staff was really friendly, the hotel is nice and clean, ca 7 minutes walk from the nearest bus station (with the direct bus to the city center, about a 15-minute ride). I appreciated the parking. The room had everything we needed.

The only thing was that the room was missing one chair, so it was a bit more difficult to eat breakfast in the room, but it was only a minor thing

Clean and handy

Staff were very friendly and kindly allowed a later checkout. The room was not new but very clean. Good quality towels and plenty of them. A handy location with a five minute stroll to the mall and good motorway access.

Inn is located on a one-way (busy) street so be prepared if you need to travel in the opposite direction.

Wouldn’t stay again sadly due to surrounding emergency housing places

Room was clean, good size Lady friendly at check in

Is surrounded by other accommodation place’s providing emergency housing. People screaming, fighting, yelling, dogs baking, allllllll night Walls n windows like paper, would have been less loud if double glazing Not this place’s problem, but the surrounding area is home to very undesirable people

Great location for shopping

Excellent location, walking distance to a massive shopping mall and the green link bus. Also it was very clean, the facilities were in good condition, kitchen for cooking my own food, a balcony with views, free parking and the staff were friendly

There were no cooking elements to fry on but an oven, so I used the oven grill instead - otherwise excellent

Location and room size. On first view looked good.

The pillow protectors had blood on them and mattress protector was dirty. Pillows hard and sheets rough and itchy.

Lovely place to stay, well run and highly recommended

We had a nice clean room, as usual. The check-in and check-out was a breeze. Shower was nice and powerful and the beds very comfy. Our room number 10 was really quiet, recommend.

Location and comfort are excellent.

This was a great place to stay for us. Warm and comfy room and very clean. This location made life easy as we had appointments at Mercy Epsom and were able to easily get there and walk into Newmarket for meals and R&R. Highly recommend.

A comfortable, clean place to stay with family

Excellent location. Room comes with kitchenette and utensils which was very convenient for our stay of 2 weeks. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Super bonus was the Sky sports channels airing the FWWC 2023 matches

The walls are thin. The shower pressure was poor and the shower size was too small for taller people.
