Friendly, helpful host. Hotel is in a convenient location close to the town centre. Room was clean and bed comfortable.
Unfortunately, there is currently no chef so there was no breakfast or dinner available in the hotel. I ate in another hotel a few metres away, which was decent. There are places to buy breakfast and coffee in the town, so not a massive problem.

Warm welcome, ease of on street parking, excellent bar with home made pizzas.....delicious !
Decent choice of beers in the bar too and adequate space.
Bed not comfortable.

a bit taken aback that our booking had slipped through and the hotel shouldn’t have been open during this time, there was no bar downstairs. which was fine but felt bad for the staff

The room was spotlessly clean and a very comfy bed. Quiet and peaceful nights sleep. Unfortunately the hotel is not doing food at the moment so no breakfast.

I’ve stayed there several times before and thought it was a fine place. Unfortunately last minute family illness prevented me from going. I messaged the hotel 24 hours before hand to try and rearrange then messaged again the next day- the day I was due to check in- further explaining my circumstances. They didn’t reply on either occasion though charged me for the night. I’m disappointed they didn’t communicate with me - these are difficult times for everyone

Owner was very well mannered and helpful ,very clean hotel ( gave good restriction information before arriving ) thanks we"ll be back !!👍👍
Bar and restaurant were closed due to covid restrictions (but that's not the hotels fault and there are plenty takeaways in the town)still 10/10 👍
